The free throw back and forth at the end of a 7-8 point game is just absolutely BRUTAL

Personally, I've started to enjoy the NBA a lot more over the last two seasons. It has made a great comeback from where it was 5-10 years ago. If you dislike this Bulls team there is something wrong with you. This team embodies everything that you should want to see in a team (OK- maybe excluding Carlos Boozer) Chicago is extremely fortunate to have two young leaders in Rose and Toews anchoring their teams.

I too get bored over the NBA/NHL debate. People get all upset and you're not going to change anyone's mind. Give it a rest.

The story is great. There is no question. That being said, how can a sport be taken seriously when a guy cut twice can be put on a team and do what he did, but more importantly, when one of the top five players in the league returns to your team you go into a tailspin.

Carmelo isnt a top 5 player. He's probably in the 20ish range.

How many times was Kurt Warner cut from various teams?

I'd be surprised if there wasn't one NHL HOFer(Does hockey have a HoF?) that hasn't been cut twice.

Lin has been good, not great. His raw numbers have been very good but when you take into account his full body of work, declining TS%, turnover rate, usage rate, and also their opponents W-L record in wins and losses, he hasn't been unbelievable or anything. The story has settled down a bit.
