Cubs fans should certainly be happy and applaud the work of their ownership for releasing Jim Hendry of what could only be described as "the worst job in America". In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Hendry was simply serving out a community service sentence or some other penance for a past mortal sin.

In other news, it is nice to finally see the obvious end of 100+ years of baseball ineptitude for the Cubs.

Fuck Hendry. When questioned, he was a smarmy asshole each and every time. He was a blame shifter. He made a lot of money and has all of one damn playoff series win over 9 fucking years in a terrible division and quite frankly a league in which just about anyone can get to the WS (see the Astros, Cardinals, Marlins during his tenure).
And he was a terrible judge of character. And he was kind of a dick about it too.

He wasted a ton of our time and efforts.

He doesn't need to worry about having enough food to eat either. It's not like he's leaving this presser and applying for an Obama Link Card.
