Ok, well since you're clearly not smart enough to realize what I meant, Ill break it down for you.

Why did you make such an idiotic statement about effort being the problem with the Cubs playoff performances?

Is this another bit? Cause if it leads to you running away like a little girl again...Im IN!

Suck a dick. You act surprised when I give your posts attitude. Reference all your posts that have to do with me to find out why.

No I dont. I dont act surpised.

You being a douchebag is not surprising to anyone.

Was that Suck a dick typed calmly? Was the sentence you felt the need to add on later edited calmly?

Only if they replace him in the booth with Joe Carter

That means he got caught juicing.

I never understood the Lily hate in Chicago. He was pretty good pitcher for them for quite a while. And his contracts were always pretty good too.

I dont even mind when he threw the glove. At least he was pissed he was losing. Most of the Cubs sleepwalked through that series.

The first batter after Zambrano was pulled hit a go ahead game winning homerun.

IMU- You are hung up on the fact that it was Zambrano. Lou said that he took him out to save him for game 5. Why do that, if Lou thought he was good enough to start a must win game 5 he should have kept him in the game to win game 1. I agree that Z is not an "ace" but that isnt the issue, the issue is that Lou was planning for a game 5 when he should have been planning on winnning game 1 and going from there.

Fair enough. But I'm not comfortable with saying that leaving him in there would have meant a win as much as you think it would have.

I'm not even saying it was a guarantee of victory, it was planning ahead for something that was irrelevant. Your goal is to win every game you play. The fact that he was counting on his team losing 2 games in the series shows that he had no faith in the team. The team was dead ass and the manager was dead ass too.

There ya go. Plenty of blame to go around for those playoff collapses.

No one counts on losing their job, but most plan to save money while they are working in case something happens.

Always try for the best outcome while preparing for the worst outcome.

Yes but if I need to pay the rent that day I am going to spend the money rather than save it and risk getting kicked out of my place.

There should never be 'thinking about the next game' in a playoff series. If Z's arm goes flying off into the third row you deal with that the next time his spot comes up in the rotation.

@ Spany...

I don't think anyone in Chicago that knows baseball has any Lilly hate. Dude was a solid starter, a solid streak buster when they were losing, and all round damn decent lefty. I love the guy.

One of Hendry's best signings really. Didn't overpay and got good production from the guy.

And Hendry signed the deal in his own blood on the operating table while doctors literally were removing every organ from his body.

I also made sure Wood and Reed Johnson were pulled back from waivers. I put a stop to that quickly. The Dyke Ricketts wanted both gone because they would not share their wives. That Muff Diver could not intimidate me.
