What song(s) do you go to if you really need motivation for something...working out...jogging...work project...etc?

Metallica and Eminem seem to be where I go most often.

Metallica--Wherever I Roam
Eminem--Not Afraid & Till I Collapse

You can add a lot of Eminem from the 8 Mile soundtrack. Lose Yourself sticks out.

Especially when done by Taylor Swift. I know you've seen it Nas.

Why do the brothers never throw down some Priest or Led Zep or Anthrax?

Who says they don't?

I don't use an ipod. I pretty much resist all technology. Songs that come on at my gym that I like are Little less conversation, All the single ladies, let your love flow, let it rock...awful crap like that. If I put songs on our ipod I'd probably have Monkees and Neil Diamond on there. It's bad but I like it.

I had a bedwetting problem when I was younger, so I would psych myself up everynight before bed by jamming out to this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6m3ksi1HWY

It didn't work, because I would still piss the bed from laughing, but it did motivate me.

I love that song! It's one of my favorite guilty pleasure songs ever. I still think Johnny Lawrence was the misunderstood hero of that movie.

Quote:
Try to be best
‘Cause you’re only a man
And a man’s gotta learn to take it

Try to believe
Though the going gets rough
That you gotta hang tough to make it

History repeats itself
Try and you’ll succeed

Never doubt that you’re the one
And you can have your dreams!

You’re the best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you dow-ow-ow-ow-own

Fight ‘til the end
Cause your life will depend
On the strength that you have inside you

Ah you gotta be proud
starin’ out in the cloud
When the odds in the game defy you

Try your best to win them all
and one day time will tell
when you’re the one that’s standing there
you’ll reach the final bell!

You’re the best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you dow-ow-ow-ho-how-ho-own

INSPIRING GUITAR SOLO

You’re the best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you dow-ow-ow-ow-own

Fight ‘til you drop
never stop
can’t give up
Til you reach the top (FIGHT!)
you’re the best in town (FIGHT!)
Listen to that sound
A little bit of all you got
Can never bring you down

You’re the best!
Around!
Nothing’s gonna ever keep you down
You’re the Best!
Around!

repeat to fade, occasional background shouts of “Oh Ye-eah!”

Very interesting choice. G.G. Allin is one of the more important figures in the recent history of popular music.
