Here is a "WERE HAPPY FOR YA" ....I met Mildred years ago at the Chicago stadium at gate 3 and a Half. The famous gate 3 1/2 in where she stood holding my tickets in Section H row A in the second balcony.

I said 'Your the famous Mildred'.... She had a Marlboro hanging out of the side of her mouth and she say's 'Yep , in the flesh honey'.

Next to meeting BOb Probert that year I think that was the highlight of my Blackhawks season .

Great stuff Mackey. You had me rolling as well.

I thought it was hilarious and I had no idea there was even a real Mildred. I just thought it sounded it so Dollar Bill. No ticket office, no ticketmaster, no credit cards...just Mildred.

She was Dollar Bills season ticket lady. Those ads Mac did ran for years and Mildred became a folk hero on Madision .Just before the season would start everyone would say "Talk to Mildred yet"?

Mac , you should try and get Mildred on the show. You might have to dig her up, she was pretty old when I met her and that was in the late 80's .

A guy like the Grobber probably remembers Mildred.. Les, any thoughts on Mildred?
