I think Cowley house-sat for the Guillens when they went out of town. I'm not sure what that does for his credibility. He's made the call that Ozzie is honest and Kenny is a liar. I don't know whether that's true or not. But if Ozzie lies to him, he'll believe it. Just like he believed the Sirotka bullshit. I guess that's his call to make.

-Cowley said Ken Williams banged Toni Braxton while he was married.

-Spiegs said Cowley is a bad reporter for being Guillen's bitch and mouth piece.

-Goff was on Cowley's side and he hates Spiegel.

Give me a quick summary then. Nobody really explained it well.

Spiegel has been making snide comments about Cowley being Ozzie's mouthpiece for awhile now. The other night Cowley started firing on Spiegel via his Twitter feed. Spiegel refused to engage in a flame war on Twitter and advised Cowley that they would talk today on the air. Cowley came on for his regularly scheduled appearance and immediately blasted off on Spiegel accusing him of being less than a man for talking behind Cowley's back. Spiegel then told Cowley to his face that he thought he was being used by Ozzie or was willfully acting as his agent. Cowley denied that and said he reports only the truth. It degenerated from there with various rumor, innuendo, insults, condescension, snickering, overtalking, etc..

Joe Cowley was a Sox fan and when Guillen won the WS, he became a Guillen fan. He would and does write anything anyone with the last name Guillen says.


The only thing I can take from this argument, its that Cowley actually believes himself to be legit. He doesnt realize how biased he is.

I thought it was a thing he knew about but just wouldnt acknowledge, but I believe he is in denial about being the Guillen's bitch.
