I tuned into the Matt Abbatacola 'experience' (LOL) last night and really enjoyed it. But I can offer one bit of advice: lay off of the station fantasy football talk. Other than those in the studio, I can't imagine anyone really cares how your team is doing or how badly the producer's team performed. Again, I really enjoyed most of the show but the first few minutes were rough.

I was impressed at how strongly Matt was talking about Guillen going to Florida. Part of me hope that comes true!

PaPaea, Ozzie IS going to Miami to become the Marlins' new manager. Jack McKeon's not long for the job the second time around. Besides, the Marlins' brass will do whatever it takes to lure Ozzie down there, especially with the team changing their name to Miami Marlins in November, unveiling new uniforms and a brand new ballpark, complete with a retractable roof.

I caught about ten minutes on 10:30 drive home. Entertaining.

I caught some of the show last night, and have to agree about the fantasy stuff - enough inside radio fantasy talk! While beardown, undoubtedly, has his pants around his ankles (hearing radio and fantasy so close together) it's just boring to hear dudes BS about their league.

Matt, the last time I sent you my email address I was inundated with Viagra and NAMBLA emails immediately. Promise not to do it this time?

It was funny hearing Matt do a show, the other night, with no Scoreboard updates.....then the very next day he is DOING Scoreboard updates on another show?!?! Interesting.

On an unrelated note, I appreciate Goff's once-in-awhile challenges of Bernstein, but undoubtedly Matt is the most condescendingly simplistic with his questioning of some of Dan's opinions (which are always presented as FACTS). I appreciate that, as Dan is quick to attack any caller who has a point that may be counter to his.

I wonder how much more "successful" (however you grade that) a Matt show after B&B would be versus the current Larry badness?

I could've done without the pointless venture of asking Cubs fans if they would like to see Ozzie manage on the North Side.
Also, taking the advice of one South Side fan to talk about their fandom was also a bit of a time-waster.
