Music these days has me looking into classical music. I've deleted MTV and BET ,the modern day minstrel show, from my tv permanately. Looking at the Billboard top 40 makes me want to vomit and then go on a killing spree. What the hell is this garbage? Yodeling nuns? What the hell is a maneater? Throws some D's on that bitch? How bout I throw you off a roof onto a dump truck filled with glass and syringes?

To each his own. I'll just say that the Eagles are far better than Coldplay and that I just checked, and I do indeed like music.

yes, jack johnson is neither a gifted musician nor an outstanding songwriter. but, when you're in a good mood and just want to relax, nothing out there is better.

Agreed, but the economics of it never worked out, and I doubt they will any time soon. For that kind of music, you need a couple dozen guys who really know how to play instruments, and not merely a few kids who learned their away around a guitar half competently.

You can have all the rest of it, quite frankly, and the pretentious raising of music made post-1960 as any kind of "art" is indicative of just how much our generation sucks at creating art. In 200 years time, they will wonder how we fell so far, so fast.

C'mon man, I've had a really rough day and I hate the fuckin' Eagles.
