They have to be able the run the ball.

Forte had a 42 yrd run. His 9 other runs he got 7 yards total. Feel free to have an established running game. Total yards are nice when you are playing fantasy, but when you one-sided it's not doing your qb any favors.

As it is every year....it's the Bears vs the media.

And that starts with the coaching staff who sets the tone. Every single one of them is difficult. Not a very cuddly bunch even when things are going well. And Ive been tired of it.

The NYJ thing looks like fun...

Are you sure he was being a smartass? That's a realistic goal I'd say.

rex ryan is likeable and ballsy and brash..he takes chances he is confident and it does look like fun..if you are not smart or slick or confident...you play the cover 2 and get eaten up by a very good qb, i just have no faith in angelo/smith to ever win a superbowl..lovie is a one trick pony and martz is very unimpressive...too bad they didn't grab bob sanders

The Packers won't get 30 next week, much less 40.

Off topic from the game itself - I can't be the only person hearing that electronic chime in the background, every few seconds, for the entire TV broadcast? It was last week too. Not during the commercials; only during the broadcast. It sounds like E.T.phoning home or something.

I honestly don't remember...I had the volume on my tv at "barely audible" because of the Joe Fuck/Troy Aikman pairing.

Well you got the Forte part right on your initial prediction so I'm betting the house on this one.

When I made my predictions for the season there was a L next to this game. I'll never pick the Bears to lose on game day. If I do then things have gotten really bad.

Packers barely scored 30 total points in 3 games last season against the Bears. My money is with Frank.

Yeah. Someone has something against us in giving us those two knobs. One raised in the worst place on earth, and the other who cannot hide his hatred for our QB. Aikman couldn't help himself today, and he knows better. That dude took some beatings in his time.

GB also had close to 20 guys on the DL last year.

Comparing seasons is frivolous. Indy did alot of things last year that they wont do this year. Vice versa for the Lions probably.

The important guys were on the field last year. Not having Ryan Grant didn't really change much. He's not even their best running back. Bears and Packers usually play a tight and low scoring game. I expect to see the same thing.

I'm willing to make a friendly wager that the Bears will beat the Packers next week FF.

I'd prefer avatar right now given the fact that Im currently jobless. I'll see if I can't get some scratch together for another charity bet before the season ends though. Deal?

The injuries and whether they keep guys out next week will be huge.

I know Collins won't play next week, probably back the week after though.

I also don't think Major will play which some Bear fans may actually like.

I think it comes down to Tramon, Chris Harris and Gabe. Tramon should play. Don't know about the other 2 for the Bears but their absence will be of significant impact.

I also do not expect Capers to be stupid enough to have AJ Hawk in coverage against Forte. Undersized undrafted rookie free agent Lattimore should be used as a spy on forte and follow him at all times on passing downs.

 Im not 12, that type of goading doesn't mean much. I was pretty confident that Baltimore wouldn't lose by double digits to Tennessee today also.
