(spencer) NO! get a number one wr?(williams) NO! its a shame the best player on the team did not get any help in the off season. It all falls on JERRY(and some of the great coaching also)

Cutler has always been a polarizing figure, but the anti-Cutler and pro-Cutler crowds should be equally disappointed in the fact that we may never get to objectively evaluate how good he can be. Under Angelo, I have little faith we ever will.

Can't say I ever loved Jerry, but he has done a good job of bringing in NFL vets and managing the cap overall. USUALLY pays guys early to save some money and avoid FA.

BUT for Years he has neglected the Big WR, that Cutler needs badly!!!!

He's severly lacking in O-Line scouting too...especially when it comes to drafting. I mean, Columbo, Williams...too early to say anything about Carimi, though.

Not sure about that Boyd, apparently all they need are smarter O linemen not necessarily better ones.

And his scouting of veterans such as Orlando Pace and Frank Omiyale?? Jerry is a decent businessman, but his talent evaluation overall is horrible.

Thats drafting. When it came to signing guys for the Oline he had a good run.

I think the Bears staff right now is pretty thin right now and they may have just added people, but I agree on some of this draft picks.

This is what I don't get. They've already broke the bank on Cutler and there's no decent O line. Meanwhile they're on their 50th draft pick at safety and they are woefully weak at LB depth.

The bad drafts are coming home to roost. Jerry sucks. Hope Ruskell is better cuz I'm sure he's next in line. Probably already going to Sunday Mass with Virginia.

Other than the aforementioned Pace signing. That was bad.

Not to mention back to back years with late round QB picks even though we have a franchise QB. In addition to his overall horrible drafting, he seems to get too cute w/ the late round picks. Those picks can be valuable... they can build the back end of the roster and an occasional starter along the line if done properly.

Garza, Miller, Tait, all good.

The $19 mill under the cap this year makes the big $$$ of last year mean nothing to the experts who says the Bears spend money!

Cutler is by no means the Bears best QB ever. I'm pretty sure Rex has a better winning % than Cutler. If Rex was getting molested like Cutler is now, people would be callign out Rex for having poor pocket presence and not getting rid of the ball before being nailed.

Even before the floodgates opened on Cutler yesterday he was having an awful game.

The bears won't do anything unless they can run the ball. And i don't blame Martz for abandoning the run. They aren't even getting 3 yards in a cloud of dust. They are getting 1 yard in a 22-man collision.

Without a team around him, he's being wasted. Suspect O line, suspect WRs...
