If I were to stay at the Score, I'd like to have a regular show with a partner - preferably Jason. That has been and continues to be my goal. If I continue doing what I am - producing, reporting, hosting - I'd still like to have a partner ... not sure why there are any solo shows on the station.
Next baseball season if I'm on the Cubs beat again, I'd like to cover every home game and travel to the "local" road games which would mean that I wouldn't be a part of B&B any longer. If that happens, I'd still like to host when I can and anchor if needed.
I'm going to be on channel 2 every Monday (6:20am) to do a Bears hit ... maybe that will turn into something down the road somewhere in television. They asked and I'd be stupid not to do it.
If nothing changes for me, I'm content for now to continue in my role at the Score.
As far as the Bears/Packers game goes, I believe that all the players who play in the game will factor into which team wins and which team loses.
Thanks for that, nice to read what your plan(s)/goal(s) are. Seems like that industry is a whole lot "right place, right time" (in addition to hard work/talent etc). Hopefully dominoes end up falling in a way that benefit you! Lot of dbags in radio, it seems, and you appear to be a decent dude.
To me, it seems like going further down that Cubs Beat Road wouldn't be a great move.....I'm certainly hopeful that other avenues will open up for you (and perhaps a couple of other dudes at the station).
Do we have a run down on the contract status of the on-air talent? Seems like at least two of the "regularly aired" shows are universally panned by the die hards....hope the PD has the balls to make some decent changes.
