I'm still waiting for my money from Full Tilt Poker.

Me too. Did finally get my money back from Matchbook thankfully. Need a new place to bet college basketball though. And I need them to let me bet the esoteric games like Coppin St/Florida A&M.

I got my money from PokerStars and Matchbook. I really miss Matchbook. :(

I told everybody months ago, to get your money out of these books while you still can. bookmaker.com was just seized, and I assume the rest will fall like dominoes soon.

DO NOT RELOAD AT ONLINE GAMBLING SITES.

Hope people took your advice.

Full Tilt Poker = Ponzi Scheme (apparently, according to the DOJ)

Good luck getting any money back from them. Just a question of who's next...

Funny thing that the DOJ takes the time to bust these guys and how much did that cost, but to license it which would have made billions and probably would have caught this issue a long time ago, that's a bad idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are politicians pushing these bills forward to legalize this, but it isn't being looked at as a pressing priority right now. Which I can get, but yeah, you think if they could show the money that is illegally going through these streams and figure that fifty percent of it would go through legal means if possible... tax that and figure out how much money you'd make. But then you'd make it too easy for the common gambling addict to start playing roulette online! PANIC!!!

It was the Republican majority House, Republican Senate and Pres. Bush who started this with that 2005 law. And plenty of Ds supported it too. The DOJ now is just carrying out what is the law that was passed then. There has been a bill introduced in the last two sessions of Congress (by Barney Frank) and there are some Ds that would support it, but not enough to get such a law passed. Name me one Republican who would vote for a law legalizing sports gambling in any form, let alone the 100 or more that would be needed to get it passed through the House. I wrote Cong. Mark Kirk about this in 05. He responded that offshore gambling was a front for money-laundering terrorists. With that kind of make believe nonsense, there is little hope.
