WHY did you find that interesting? That's my issue Spanky. You found it interesting because you already had it in your mind to create some bullshit narrative about me choosing what offends me based on the source. I've explained 3 times in this thread that it didn't matter who posted the electric chair gif, I wouldn't have liked it.

And what you don't realize is, I didn't even look to see who posted it when I made my original statement. I merely replied and said "That shit ain't funny." I meant it.

I dunno RPB, I thought that was a fair question by Spanky.

And let me backtrack and address this snake-ass post.

Why was it such a fair question in your opinion? In my opinion, it was an unreasonable question and an obvious attempt at creating bad feelings as well as steering the thread off course.

This is why you and I clash, because it always comes back to these little "hit n' run" posts where you say it without saying it. You used to accuse me of only arguing with certain guys (which was inaccurate), then you cheered me on anytime I had a board fight with people you didn't expect me to. The fact is, I'm not biased here and I never have been.

What? Dude what did I "say but not say" in that post above? RPB felt that Spanky's question was BS, and I disagreed and felt that it was a good question. Are you to say that we all don't give a little leeway to other posters when they posts things that are a little "questionable"? The part about "The Crew" may have been a bit snarky, but I think the point was made.

And when have I ever accused you of only arguing with certain guys? If anything, I felt you would back down to a few, but I can't recall saying that you would just flat-out refuse to argue with certain people.

People really have their blinders on here. DT was obviously making a satirical point. The football picture was a just a silly play on names. Not sure what CiJ's point was. But it wasn't funny.

IMU - Stop pretending to know what people will do or think three months from now.

Everyone else saying "He might not have been innocent" - Really? Really?? What exactly is your point? The fact that there's even a shred of doubt means we should all be embarrassed by the fact our country did this. Not to mention the whole "state sanctioned execution" argument.

Either way, the fact remains: You included 5 other people in Cairo's thoughts. That was wrong.

There is not much more to it. Most people would acknowledge the error by now but you keep wanting to fight it.

I'm not fighting anything excpet the ignorance you keep spilling. YOU have now brought the other names in, YOU have now brought out an exact number of other people. I did neither one of those.

No thats exactly what you did Champ...

The CREW was clearly defined as 6 specific people on this site. You know it, I know it, and anyone who read that thread knows it.

I think you are reading way too much into this. My point was exactly what I said - it was interesting to me that the racial humor was acceptable in this thread in an execution case that is plagued with racism, but the electirc chair poster was not. Once I clarified that, I simply asked was it because the racial post wasn't made by somebody who is regualrly called out on here as being racist. That's it. No more. I even explicitly stated that I'm not trying to "pick a fight" with you, and that I agree that there is probably injustice of some sort in this case.

Still don't understand how I'm perceived as the shit-stirrer in this thread vs. the person that makes drive-by random shots (DT) and the person who immediately jumps in a starts swearing and calling names when they weren't involved in the thread to begin with (RPB).

I'm questioning it. Not pretending to know. Remember the guy who had his trailer burn down? Are we still talking about him? Casey Anthony? Park 51?

Park 51 finally opened today, by the way. Congratulations to them.

I'm not sure what your point is. What are people supposed to do? Quit their jobs and go protest in Washington?

Spanky, I think if you are only talking about Kid. You should just use his name/username.

When you say THE CREW, it implicates more than just kid.

I dont know why that is so controversial.

I apologize that the word bull #### offended you.

I must have missed the part where I defined who was in the "Crew". Don't bother looking - I never did. Not when it started, not now. However, this is the first time I can recall you being upset about being on that list - but it's been mentioned quite a bit lately. I said "Crew" originally because it's alot of those same people who routinely say things like "update that list (name here)", etc. And I believe a "Crew Member" was the one that started the list thread, right? And I believe it is "Crew Members" that routinely bump the thread, right?

I don't like either.

Can I assume from your post that you are anti-abortion but pro-capital punishment?

People fake interest in such matters. This will never change. People like to be part of a cause, even if they don't understand the cause. This is why I had to watch 4-yr-olds cry when Michael Jackson died. It doesn't make the emotions of those who are truly saddened any less real or important. Nor does it make them hypocrites simply because they don't go riot in the streets.

Still unclear of your point as it relates to what you said earlier. How can me or Kid or Ivan or Peeps caring change what the masses think? All we can do is put out our opinion and maybe open up some eyes of people who like to live with them closed. You seemed to want to argue that this is not important because more people care about the NFL than this man. That is such a ludicrous point and it is why people are wondering if you're being genuine or regressing back to your disingenuous prick shtick.

I know you're all just dying to know my thoughts.
This man was a convicted cop killer. Convicted. He was given appeals. They failed.
The witnesses who have supposedly recanted their testimony wouldn't do so under oath.

That being said, we shouldn't be killing ANYONE. This guy wasn't a threat to the public spending life in prison. How we think we have the right as a society to take lives is beyond me. I can't wrap my mind around killing people, even those we determine "deserve it". No one should be murdered. Not by a sicko like the fuck that Texas killed yesterday, nor by the state, because when the state/country kills someone, that is a reflection on her citizens. I don't want anything to do with murder on my conscience. It's not who I am.

$$$$$

What does that mean?

Many that is true, but an incomplete statement.
