Since Davis's conviction, seven of nine witnesses have changed or recanted their testimony, some have said they were coerced by police to testify against him and some say another man committed the crime.

No physical evidence linked Davis to the killing.

Sounds 100% reasonable to execute a guy

Yes I can but the guy was convicted. he had a re trail, had appeals and still they could not overturn it. How much longer should he have been given?

So you feel that it was pretty obvious that he did it? The people who witnessed it are now saying it might not have been true, regardless if it was under oath or not, still not a reason to put the guy to death. Sort it out first, you can't undo death.

Doesn't matter either way now, he's dead.

See, there's their location, but I think this kind of thing can come into play in any locale where a crime with a "peace officer" is involved. I do believe that any crime committed against any employee of the city, county, or even state should have an automatic change of venue put in place (even if it's to a neighboring state) to prevent that type of corruption from happening.
