I think the Bears are gonna get destroyed, but that's not why I called.....

You all can rejoice: The Bears will be wearing their alternate orange jerseys this week. 8)

Outside of the White Sox 1917 uni's, those are the best throwbacks in all of sports.

Orange jerseys? Until last year, those jerseys were reserved for Halloween...

They'll be wearing them again Week 10 vs Detroit Lions.

Ohhh...

That is what I thought spany meant. Yeah, those ones are the best. I don't like or dislike the orange jerseys.

Cut him a break. English is his second language. The statement was perfectly clear in jibberish.

Being realistic doesn't equate with being a sellout. Cutler had QB ratings of 38, 43 and 31.8 last season vs the Packers. He only won the first game due to 2 interceptions being negated by penalties (of 18 penalties called against the Packers) and a Touchdown by Finley being called off in the flag-fest as well. cutler makes too many BAD decisions when facing a defense that applies good pressure on the QB. He will very likely do the same in this game. The Bears do have a chance...their defense has done a good job vs Rodgers in general and if they contain him and the special teams can return a punt or kickoff for a touchdown or 2 they could win. Plus, the Packer defense has given up a ton of passing yards and Nick collins (safety) is out now, so that isn't likely to help that situation....But the Packers had a ton of injuries last season and wound up Super Bowl Champs. Now they are healthier and despite some secondary issues are rolling. Packers 27-13

With a few breaks, the Bears can win. Eighteen or nineteen penalties on the Packer's would be nice. I don't understand why people see luck in that win last year. Nobody ever points to bad calls in the game. The penalties as I recall were obvious and forced by the Bears' pass rush or caused by undisciplined play. One Packer late hit way out of bounds I remember giving the Bears new life.

If the Bears played like that, we'd say they self-destructed. And games against self-destructing teams get won all over the league every week. It's not a matter of luck. So the Pack could self-destruct again, and I'll take it.

More likely, though, they need something out of special teams. Seems to me that many Bears-Packers games over the years involved fake punts or blocked kicks, going for two, or some oddball thing. The Bears need whatever happens there to go for them and against the Packers.

Return game's got to contribute, with points or big returns. The new kickoff rule won't hurt as much outside in the rain as it did at New Orleans.

Defense needs to contribute with take-aways that stop a likely Packer scoring drive and lead to Bears points.

Too much probably needs to go right for a Bears win, especially down Carimi and Bennett. Packers win 23-19, but we start feeling better about the Bears than we did last week.

One of the best things about hockey are the jerseys/sweaters! They have the best overall.

There's another reason hockey sucks. You have to wear a "sweater" to play.

Some things never change. 3rd and 16 and a weak ass screen pass that had no chance. Somewhere John Shoop and Jim Miller are smiling

Its hard to call a guy overrated when he really hasn't done shit to be overrated but Cutler sure fits the bill.

I agree. My only hope is there will still be people raving about his potential when he is 30.

What purpose does Kellen Davis serve on this team? He cannot block and he cannot catch.

And Aikman's analysis: Cutler should be charged with assault.

Clown.

How was that not a penalty on Woodson?

Once again Packers getting all the breaks.

that was a penalty on woodson but it means little in the grand scheme of things..this team should have won 8 games last season and caught every break imaginable..all it did was give us 2 more years with two morons in lovie and angelo
