Briggs was not in control before he goes out-can't say the Packers have gotten all the breaks

That ALMOST gets the Bears back in the game.

Gotta love the way he held the ball out with one hand as he was going into the end zone. I can only imagine the fan reation had the ball been knocked out of his hand just before breaking the plane of the end zone...

Just a reminder, the Bears radio post game show with Doug Buffone and Ed O'Bradovich can now be heard in glorious frequency modulated radio at 105.9FM. I'm told you can actually hear the blood vessels bursting!

+1.

You know you're the SB champs when you have a disappointing 3-0 start to the season.

This Bears team is an embarrassment. This team sucks from the front office to the field. Like the Sox, Cubs and Hawks they are a flash in the pan team with Championships won every other decade or so. Looks like golfing will be good on Sundays now.

i was pissed that they gave up their lead in the fourth when it was 32-26 but that offense is just fun to watch. the defense was unstable but they did keep the saints in it a few times when it could've gotten out of control...kept them to field goals.

they've scored 104 points through 3 games. i'm excited about the offense...i think the defense is just going to be frustrating. if the offense can keep this up, i can live with it.

Enough with the mutual admiration society.

Let Bears fans be miserable. :D

Might as well. Jay can't even blame his line yet
Its hard to call a guy overrated when he really hasn't done shit to be overrated but Cutler sure fits the bill.
I agree. My only hope is there will still be people raving about his potential when he is 30.
Keep hearing about cutler as an "elite qb" (mulligan). At what point do we admit he is no good? The overthrows...bad receivers. Too many sacks.....bad off game plan. Bad reads....bad line. The NFL is full of teams with bad o lines, bad receivers and bad coordinators. But they win now and then . If cutler did not have forte last year, they would have done nothing.
Think of it this way---if you were game planning against the bears, would you fear cutler? He has a built in excuse front the writers and fans in this town and no one blames him--just everyone else on the team. This is his third year here--put up or shut up. Same for love and his bullshit 90s defense.
