who was filling in durring the 3-4 hour yesterday for M, J & H?

as much as i like a 35 min summary of the history of sports radio in chicago, i would rather watch the OC than listen to all the riviting drama that has developed over the years between the Score and ESPN....... For real, i was listening to find out about the latest on Lance Briggs, the cubs and sox, as well as what to expect out of the bulls with a big game about to go down..... but no, i get to hear about who interned where, and whos production manager worked with who, and who betrayed who and left the score, and my gosh...... i have never heard so many names dropped in a 15 min span since one of my interns met Pat Tomasulo and thought he was the new media king of the chicago..........

worst fill in ever.... i was actually hoping to hear they monatone whine of Carmen.......

I read your post, Storm, keeping in mind that you've never heard of Chet C. You are spot on, my friend. Post of the day!

I like him more as a weekend-when-I'm-not-listening voice. Between the wrestling, the self-promotion, and the "This Old Sports Radio" segments, Storm is right. There was hardly a moment of actual sports talk in there.

Even when he had Mongo on (speaking of washed up), the talk drifted into wrestling. The contests for the White Sox was Chet Coppock trivia. It all about Chet the whole four hours. He kept mentioning at the end how he was tired, and that he wanted to get out of there, and I wanted to yell at my radio that I wasn't going to stop him.

Danny, I know he's your mentor, but he doesn't even HAVE a fastball anymore. He provides little to no useful information or discussion, and all the run-on sentences give me a headache. Next time he's in the booth, I'm flipping the station.

You beat me to it. Mac is dead-on with the Ron Burgandy comparison.

Man, I want that ass in North Shore's avatar. Its gyrations are hypnotic.

Spaulding, you have it backwards. You're supposed to join the sorority, and THEN get pregnant.

Interesting observations, but I'm sorry to report that I've stumbled upon a couple of flaws in your premise:

1)If you did acquire the ass in North Shore's avatar, I think it would look a little odd on you since you're a guy. But to each his own.

2)Assuming you placed it in the customary anatomical spot, you wouldn't be able to see it very well--except with a mirror--and thus couldn't fully appreciate its "hypnotic gyrations".

Food for thought, I guess.

Probably, but much like a sorority girl when I'm not pregnant I can drink like a fish, boink like a bunny, and act really really bubbly. I've also avoided tanning beds so my skin is in far better condition than most of your friends. I'd fit right in.

Spmack probably wouldn't do her.

Yeah I would like to vote North Shore J's avatar as the best. Although you might get me in trouble if the wrong person happens to come by, I can't help but to stare. Yes I would do her on Michigan Ave in below zero weather. Because a chick like that you would want the world to see you hittin that. She looks like a chick from the Booty Talk series.

I've never heard of this series, but it sounds like Lawrence Welk would be proud
