Will Ferrell's Harry Carey impersonation can eat a dick.

i don't remember game 7 much either, except when wood hit the home run and i still thought, "this just doesn't feel like a win."

edit: boyd - i can't stress enough how much it bugs me. you're not a cubs fan, you're not from chicago, and your impression is incredibly insulting.

Everyone should just stop trying after hearing Jim Volkman's anyway.

Oh good. Moises Alou.

#INeedAnAdult #AnalBleeding

I can't make this up. As I was writing the silliness above, my dog was fixated on the Moises interview. He looked at me, let out a huge fart, and ran away.

Would've been funnier if he lifted his leg and peed. ( your dog, not Alou).

i'm impressed with what they've done with the angles, colorizing and pointing people out, making it clear who's who.

I'm so grateful this is one of the worst things I've experienced.

I'm going to watch this later, but I hope they pointed out the guy in the grey fleece a few seats away from Bartman who was desperately trying to catch the ball and then starting pointing at Bartman when he realized what had happened. He could have easily been Bartman.

And, yeah, Jim Cuthbert seem like a real classy guy.

Did they just compare Bartman to Christ?

Tad: they interview him

I'm honestly not sure. I worked there at the same time, and he was friends with my boss. I haven't been with Hewitt in over 5 years, though.

No.

OK, cool, thanks guys. I'm looking forward to seeing that. He's had to have thought "Holy shit, this could have easily been happening to me."

Seeing all the security needed to protect Bartman at Wrigley was...unsettling.

In my season ticket rotation I ended up at game 7 rather than what would have been game 1 (at wrigley) of the WS. The night was bad vibe all night. Quick story...Wood hits the home run to tie it up and the place is rocking....he comes out to the mound and his first warm up pitch is a good 5 to 10 feet over the catcher head and hits the back of the screen. I knew he was in trouble. He was.

Dan Shaughnessy really seems like a guy I'd like to repeatedly punch in the face.

Was at the bar. Went to take a piss. Was walking out of the bathroom when the Bartman play happened. I remember a bunch of the people screaming fan interference and then silence. When Gonzalez had that hit eat him up, I knew it was over. I really did want to think that they would win game 7, but I remember losing hope quickly. White Sox fans that reveled in our pain can suck my balls for all I care. We didnt deserve that as a fanbase.

All that being said, 2004 was much harder to swallow.

Cuthbert was a gunslinger dammit who died on Jericho Hill "blowing that fucking horn".

Show some respect.

I have much stronger memories of where I was and what I was doing for the Bartman game than 9/11 :(
