well plus you'd need to factor in having room for a respirator and defibrillator in the room at all times

The defibrillator is probably already there. They have to have one just in case Hanley says something really funny, because that would certainly cause somebody to have a grabber.

About 6:20 or so, Hanley was getting ready to throw things over to traffic girl for updates (I forget her name):

Hanley; (talked about chance of rain, and temp)...and that cut off low pressure system is still hanging around.

Traffic girl; Cutoff low?

H; Yeah, that's what they call it. You can get that with white or brown rice

TG; Eh, ha....ha....so let's take a lot at the roads....

Harry Teinowitz has set the bar so low for 'funny guys on Chicago sports radio' I didn't think it was possibly for somebody to be worse than him.

Pretty soon you'll be calling for a combination of Hanley & Holmes to supplant B&B in the afternoon slot.

Frank, I heard that. Most times, I at least get the joke he's trying to make. I have no idea what the "cutoff low" thing was supposed to mean.

Agreed on Grobber.

BTW, the difference between Laurence and Mully & Hanley is that M&H have a COMPLETE lack of self-awareness. Laurence tells his bad jokes with a wink-wink. On the other hand, Mully & Hanley actually think they're funny and amusing.

As someone who considers myself a fairly large Cubs fan I didn't watch because I don't want to put myself through all of that again. But more power to anyone who did. Whatever. I am much more incensced by the Frat boy douchebags at Wrigley than some fans watching a Bartman documentary.

I put an earbud in to help me fall asleep most nights. I either listen to Les' terrible show or Jason Smith on ESPN.

Neither are very good...

"Way better than Les" is still a long way from good.

I used to like the dude on WGN overnight. Nick something.

Indeed.

Les is losing control of his old drunk callers. He kept trying to cut this guy off so he could go to break and the guy pretty much just brushed him off. Better nip that in the bud, Les...

i think part of the problem is that Mully makes Hanley look even worse by laughing at things that aren't even really jokes

they had Matt Bowen on a few minutes ago and while they were introducing him Hanley said something about how even though its early in the morning he should do an in-studio with him sometime. i really didn't think Hanley intended it to be a joke but Mully came in with a booming laugh....so then you think ok, that was a terrible joke
