Anywho, I have a soft spot for Nora Dunn, because I met her in 91 or 92.
I was in the Round Lake HS marching band, and her brother, Mike Dunn, was the varsity football coach at the time.
For reasons unknown, she came to one of our football games, and being a huge SNL fan, I just went up and said hi to her
before the game started. She was cool.

Hey, I put a warning on my posts. Read it buddy.

If you were gay like me you'd be after Farley.

Was Steve Martin ever a cast member?

You know, I thought he was? Maybe he just hosted?

Are you thinking Farley Chippendale's or Farley Matt Foley?

Yeah, the Belushi skits were memorable. I still think its a generational thing. I grew up on the cast of the mid to late 80s with Miller, Nealond, Carvey, Hartman, etc. I found Murphy's stuff to be very funny at the time but didnt really see the humor in the some of the older guys like Murray, Akroyd, Chase, etc. Looking back though, there are some great skits in there. The Bass-O-Matic and the bag-o-glass skits were awesome.

Technically, I grew up with the Will Ferrell/Cheri Oteri/Colin Quinn years, but I largely eschewed them for the reruns of the Hartman/Carvey/Myers years on Comedy Central, having sworn off the first-run when I found out Norm got fired. I think I made the right choice.

I stopped watching after the Myers era. Actually, even during the Myers era I started getting really sick of sprockets and simon and the rest of the skits that seemed to keep getting re-tread.

Of the current cast,
I happen to find Bill Hader. Jason Sudekis, and Keenan Thompson to be my favorites.
I think Wiig gets too many sketches, and has worn out her once amusing characters.

Is it wrong that Andy Samburg makes me irrationally hostile?

Personally, I like him. But he's not in that many skits, but his Digital Shorts have been way more HIT than miss, IMO.

Only if you're an anti-semite. Are you an anti-semite? If not, then it's not wrong. Is it?

No, I'm down with the Jewish folks, it's just that I've found myself overly annoyed with him going back to day 1 on the show.

I've maintained for a while that Andy Samberg is the only person with worse punch-me-in-the-face face than Jay Cutler.

Better be careful around Andy or this could happen when you least suspect it......love this one for some reason. It's stupid, but somewhat effective.
