Let me be the first to crack this one open, Bucky... 8)

I'm hoping for the best here. I am looking forward to checking this one out, if I get the chance.

Good luck to Nick Smith & all involved. W00t.

believe me, i have a different set of standards when i'm watching a film made on a low budget by people who are just trying to make a movie. i think it looks pretty intriguing, from the trailer.

i'm looking forward to it, too.

Is this actually coming out nationally or just a limited local release?

i read a review for it on a chicago website and they said it's "familiar but good". i mean, it's not exactly an original story and i think smith knows that anyway. but they didn't really knock it for that.

it's being released at the cantera on the 7th i think...if i read the press release correctly. i know it's playing at st. charles during scarecrow fest.

We drove down Munger Road on the way back from my kids Pee Wee football game. Contemplated leaving the car parked on the tracks, and hiking it back home.

This is two times in the past several months I've seen the Baker Hotel in downtown St. Charles in the mainstream - the other time - when the NFL owners met there back in the Spring.

Well, I can't help but be partial...but honestly, seriously...this is the most effective horror thriller I have seen in recent years. You don't even feel the low budget...the acting is top notch, very natural, and extremely credible. I'm in love with Brooke Peoples.

The pacing is a tad shaky at first, and I wasn't sure where exactly the movie was going but once it got its feet planted, the tension was absolutely gripping. Nick Smith is a very good director for his first effort and though he borrows some elements from different films and filmmakers, he shows he has command of the camera and the scene.

The ending is a bit anti-climactic but the last shot is going to put a smile on the face of anybody who likes mystique and appreciates something that can be openly interpreted.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film and recommend it to anyone who wants to have a scary good time. It's great timing for October, and it's a great date movie. The character of Joe (Peoples) is very believable and I think she's the character that really holds the "teenage" characters together.

Bruce Davison is a veteran and holds together the "other" plot of the cop who's tracking an escaped killer that might have a connection to Munder Road.

I really hope this kid has a bright future because he definitely shows he has talent, and he certainly loves the horror genre. Forget the Hollywood bullshit that's going to come out this month (and I don't even care to try "The Woman in Black", whenever that comes out). This is worth your time.

:D :D :D :) out of :D :D :D :D

I was at Classic Cinemas in St. Charles on Friday and they were playing it. Huge crowd was lined up for it.

I caught this today...I enjoyed the hell out of it. I really liked the ending...the only other person in the theatre did not share that opinion, however.
