that's actually a good point....there are people I excluded from my list because based on quantity....only putting out one great album is still pretty great, but when others have put out multiple great albums that's going to trump it

How is Dre ahead of Jay-Z RPB? He doesn't even write his own rhymes. Hell Jay-Z writes some of them. Your dislike of Hova is shocking. How is Biggie ahead of Pac on any list? Did Big ever say something thought provoking?

The song with Royce and Jean Grae is good. Think it's called Assasins or something. "Clap" is good.

It's worth a listen just to see if anything sticks out. I didn't really dig it the first time I listened. Much better 2nd and 3rd time...

He seems to rank pretty high on most lists here.

My thing with Rakim (that keeps him from being #1) is If you're the greatest, you shouldn't just fall off the way he did...

Not really feeling Rakim like a lot of people do. I mean, he was one of the first to use metaphors and sophisticated concepts but others have come along and done it better than he did. I give him credit for being a pioneer and an innovator, but I can't give him much more than that.
