People copied the posts, so it's pretty easy to follow...

Lost my inspirado for that one, Kroyzon Ivy.

Turns out to be pretty hard to create something isn't it?

I got you. No shame in realizing that there are more improtant things than this board. We all need to step back now and then. I'm happy for you...

Just tell the truth, Qbo. You couldn't do it.
Don't feel bad. It's really not a shot at you at all. Fuck man, writing songs is very hard. Well, unless your name is Lennon or something.
You tried, you couldn't do it. I don't even call that failure. Because you still tried.
Best of luck next time.

That is the biggest crock of shit I have read on the board in a while. And that is really saying something with the shit IMU has posted today.

The way I say it is the way it is, Mr. "I've got to Clear Every Word That Comes Out Of Another Person's Mouth" Guy.

Don't be mad at me... I actually feel for you dude. You know how many half written songs I got? Probably 20. It IS hard. Real hard. I also wrote one about CSFMB. I finished it, but it still wasn't easy...
Look man, just fight thru it. Keep working on it. You'll get it and when you do and you can share it I'll probably enjoy it.
I ain't fighting with you Panther. Seriously.

I had already mapped out where I wanted to go with it - just not feeling it enough to put the subsequent effort in to put it down on wax, that's all.

This Project has been tabled strictly because I have put This Board in Panthro Tribute Sing Time Out.

I doubt you on that though, because you went thru all the trouble to announce it, make a big deal out of it... so on.
Just sympathizing with you. I know how it feels when you just can't quite find the right way to finish out a project like yours.

Just take a few select random exchanges betwixt (is this right usage?) yourself and some of the board members and you should have no problem writing a great CSFMB song.

That's pretty good advice. There is plenty of material for songwriting on the board. Maybe you just need to give yourself a little more time...

How about starting with a CSFMB parody song to Hall & Oates "Man Eater"

I'm not sure why I chose that, but I could see endless funny bad possibilities for that.

This should serve as a lesson to all the people out there who think song writing is easy...obviously its not and most songs don't even get finished

Secanted on Darkside's and RPB's comment about songwritng. I have thrown away or scrapped every single song I've ever written as of now for the band I'm in. I hate the perfectionist side in me. :x

It's kind of sad. A board tribute song done well could have really changed his board image. It's one of those things that we'd look back on and think was even worthy of inclusion in the year end awards. I guess we'll never know though...

This is why I write mostly sea shanties and negro spirituals.

I'm not playing around with covers, Krives & 'Glo.

Thought of something just today that I will work around when I get the time.

It takes on subject of Board Bullying head-on, and it is delivered from the viewpoint of a nameless boarder who is being converged on, but who intends to fight back - and win. Dedicating it to all who have had to fight the good fight.

Beginning part goes a bit like this:

(Am) Ya wanna pick on me, suck a (Am7) dick on me, baby (D7) yeah!

(Am) Ya wanna pick on me, suck a (Am7) dick on me, baby (D7) yeah-he-ah!

Came up with a break as well (F-Fmaj7-to C), but no lyrics yet for the break.

No title yet.

Sounds great, champ. I'm sure you will do your best...

But I guess that's why good song writing is so rare. Frank and DS are gifted.....but Panther did his best ....what more can you ask?

In all seriousness, it would go a long way to restoring his eligibility for it.

At the end of the day, you can have the best intentions, but it always comes down to pentatonic scale mastery and conscientious fingering.
