New (and last) season started last night. Gotta new hairstyle and is in Prison breaking rules and getting beat up by Nazis. I would expect to see the Prison Doctor on his team when he gets out.

Not sure if I like House as a character much anymore since they have made him overly flawed to the point of being nothing more than an asshole crack head with a library card. Still entertaining though.

I think the new storyline is pretty much the definition of jumping the shark. It's been one of my favorite shows on tv so I'll stick out this last season but it's really gone down hill.

I wish they had somehow kept Andre Braugher on the show. Love that guy in everything. Thought he really added something to the show.

Agreed. His interaction with House was brilliant.

The last two seasons haven't been that interesting.

Agreed.

His original character was brilliant but flawed and I could still feel some empathy for him. His imperfections and demons etc would creep up to the surface every once and a while and it made his character interesting. The teams were pretty solid as well.

Now, as WWN stated, his character has dropped all pretense of any normalcy or whatever and is now just and out and out fuckhead who I hope gets shanked in prison and butt fucked to death in the shower.

The promo commercials for the show have jumped the shark along with the actual show as well...every one has been, for a good while, been transposed over footage of House shooting heroine, snorting blow, going to prison etc.

Maybe he goes out with a bang.
