Derrick Mason traded for a conditional 7th round pick.... why would the Bears not take a flyer considering the shit they have on the field?

If he sucks they don't get any compensation. I'm not upset the Bears didn't waste a draft pick on Mason. The Bears scheme isn't simple and Mason is washed up.

Well, every trade could pertain to every team's talk if you're just saying.

Why didn't team x sign / trade for player y?

And your topic title is misleading if you only want to talk about the Bears not trading for Roy Williams v2.

I'd rather talk about how long Andre Johnson sits out for - as well as how this moves Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walters around. Does Derrick Mason start over those two? I don't think he should.

There, hopefully the title change will make you feel better.
