You've got it backwards. Iron Man is the ultimate hero and success story. He was a boy genius who worked as hard as he could even with a rich family to build himself into a super hero. He was not born with the natural advantages of a Captain America and he didn't just randomly attain his position in life like The Hulk. Iron Man overcame not being born into the life of a superhero and through hard work and determination he overcame those difficulties. Now, the government wants to take his suit away and distribute it to others who didn't work hard for it.

I'm not racist about those people but he had the support of 3/4ths of the entire planet. Tony Stark may have been born into money, but he only had the resources of long island to lace up his boot strings and get to work. He could have very easily ended up in a pizza place or working for the mob. Not to mention that he had to overcome a damaging heart issue that probably would have killed genetically superb superheroes who struggled around green rocks.
So in one part of your post you talk about racism, and then in this part you start denegrating a Jewish superhero for being orange?

Sorry to interrupt the JORR vs. Brick stuff which is fantastic. I agree Loki alone is kind of weak, I thought they would have more than one bad guy. But it looks like a great start to the avengers franchise. Justice League movie has been rumored for years, even had a rough script and cast a few years back but then got shelved. Hope it comes out, I think it would be better than avengers.

Iron Man is the product of technology rather than nature. I can only imagine what Luke Cage may have been able to achieve had he had the advantages of a Tony Stark. Luke had every reason to become despondent and slip into a drunken haze but he overcame the circumstances of his birth. If only Luke had stuck with Orville Smythe he might be a better Iron Man.

I guess we just view the dimension we live in differently. You look at Tony Stark and think that anyone could have become a billionaire super hero and I look at him and wonder why no one else did it if it was that easy. Luke Cage chose a life of crime over the noble pursuit of building machines that keep America's borders safe from the Communists.

I guess we'll agree to disagree. Tony Stark is everything that we should strive to be instead of a guy like Cage who just became another Chicago criminal like Blago and Mayor Daley.
