I thought this episode was dated. It reminds me of The Simpsons. I remember a few cases there where production issues produced some stale episodes.
According to the South Park special, the episode isn't complete until hours before its airing -- but I didn't notice anything recent in this one.

I also had an issue with the child suicide bits.
