I read a lot of negative stuff about this show, here. And while I tend to take the side of 'they do what they do, and that's better than the other guys," how does a guy who makes his living NOT KNOW who won that Wisconsin versus Nebraska matchup? I was listening this morning as he stumbled through it. At first he went with the gut instinct that Wisconsin must have lost. Then he literally had to ask who won, and if the score he was reading was correct.

I get that he is a Bears guy. Though I don't understand why they have 33 Bears experts if the host of the show is, himself, a Bears expert. Nevertheless, if you make your living talking all sports how don't you have any idea who won that game? We weren't talking some obscure Drake versus Western Michigan game here.

Anyway, just thought I would jump on the Negative Train with the rest of you!!! LOL

Yeah I heard it too and thought the same thing. I could understand if he didn't have the score of the NIU game, but Wisky-Neb was the biggest college game of the weekend. I guess he was too busy looking at Soccer.

That joke has gotten funnier each of the 1,258 times I've heard it.

Great point! The day after Mr. 8-inches-per-carry-small-man's-shoe-size Forte ran for over 200 yards, they see fit to insert that jab at the running game as some sort of highlight?!?!?! Someone is asleep at the wheel, LOL.

I don't fault anyone not working in sports for not being able to tell you the result of a huge college football game, but oh dear is it bad news for a guy on the Mount Rushmore of football experts to not have any idea and stumble around while trying to recap the weekend's scores!!!

It's also great how both of them had to say "Now think about that" to eachother.... ....ugh. This show is the worst thing ever created.

I agree. I would rather eat cookies laced with anthrax than listen to this.

This morning Mulligan spent a few minutes giving Troy Aikman, and the audience, some misleading info about a Cutler-Martz riff. While there may be one, the clip they kept on playing was Jay talking about Martz without mentioning his name. He took it as a jab at Martz, told Troy about it, then was finally called out by someone toward the end of the show and back pedaled a bit.

You know a show is truly awful when that's the clip they choose to play to promote it.
