That is a very bold statement this early in the game.

Right, because if I'm wrong about it, the ramifications for me are devastating.

Wonder if Lohse walked over to Berkman after that homer and asked him how he felt about Carp now.

Not with CJ Wilson on the mound against him. My not-so-bold prediction is that the Cards finish this game with more than 5 runs.

Agree with you guys 100%, Holland was great. Did Ozzie take over the Cardinals tonight? You keep giving up outs with the bunt, and then they walk Albert, and Holiday wets the bed, sounds like a plan to me.

Tony's use of the bunt in front of Pujols this entire postseason has been maddening...taking the bat out of your best players hands is always sound judgement...

...that being said, bunting Furcal there was a good move...Craig has to be able to do something there....

...oh, and Matt Holliday can officially choke on a bag of dicks...if the Cards can't afford to resign Pujols in the offseason, knowing they gave Holliday all that money last season is going to drive me nuts.

Wow that was a "everything I've got in the tank" HR by Beltre. Game on.

Well at least it was someone besides Tony taking the bat out of his hands for a change...

No, he had to miss a sign. But even if he thought he got it, he should have called time and had them go thru it again. You have to be smart enough to know that he of all people is not stealing there.

I don't care that he's given up two homers....I don't want to see the bullpen for any reason before the ninth inning, at the earliest.

This is not the same bullpen that cost you earlier this year, they are very impressive. Trust me, I saw enough of them over the last month.
