Do you guys recommend Netflix? Thinking about signing up for it. Lots of TV series I never watched, but would like to start. Breaking Bad and the Wire to name a couple.

The Wire and any other HBO shows are not on Netflix. They do have alot of great TV shows though, and I would recommend it just for that. The movies are okay, but you won't be finding anything relatively new or popular.

Just noticed that. It comes up in their search, but shown as DVD only.

I have netflix, but Im thinking about dumping it. The streaming site works fine and I like it, but the dvd by mail is a joke as they are now not getting new releases till a month after they come out in some instances. I wanted to get Green Lantern and its not available for another few weeks despite it being released 2-3 weeks ago.

They're doing you a favor by not having Green Lantern available.

yeah, I'm not expecting great things from the movie. But, that's part of the benefits of having a service like netflix in theory. You pay a flat fee so you can get movies delivered to you, especially movies like GL that aren't good enough to spend $10 in the theater or $30 for a blu ray, but as part of your monthly fee its worth getting. Especially when the only movie you've had delivered to you int he last 3 weeks is the Lincoln Lawyer and you haven't even watched it cause it looks so ghey.

There's barely enough movies worth getting delivered to you on a monthly basis as it is, to be told that the one movie yoiu want is unavailable is ridiculous.

See, that's why I dropped the DVD service 2 months ago...I've had a hard time coming up with stuff that I want to see badly enough to not wait for either streaming or cable.
