From what I have read, it hardly rained at all tonight, and nothing since 7, lol.

But if it rained all day, the field could have been unplayable.

"lol"

MLB didn't want to risk what happened in the 2008 World Series. There was a game that started between the Rays & Phillies that was suspended because of rain and resumed the next day in Philadelphia if memory serves. Although Games 6 & 7 (if necessary) will be played in St. Louis, the Cardinals may have home field advantage but it's MLB & FOX Sports calling the shots from here on out.

By the way, rain is no longer in the forecast tonight. Game 6 should be a go.

This twirling towel shit needs to go away. The fans of both teams have done it but it looks stupid. Leave it for the Steelers fans and move on to something else or simply cheering.

After seeing that Lipid is going to kill something or someone. Holiday has to come get that ball.

The fans let the the 'ole dick shot' in Los Angeles go and gave him a standing ovation when they came back to St. Louis. Fuck that tonight. Boo the fucker until he makes up for that with his bat. Unreal.

So tired of seeing major league ball players get hurt running the fucking bases, not knowing how to slide, etc. No excuse for that shit.

Slight redemption for Holliday, with that slide into second. Nice.

Almost as bush league as A-rod's slap a few years back.

Is Davis Freese the worst defensive 3rd baseman in MLB? Serious question.

Is lipid ok? Someone check on him.

He could reach second base. It wasn't that bad.

No way. He purposely slid two feet to the right of the bag just to fuck Kinsler's throw up. Douchebag move

Worst managerial move of the series. Bring in the pinch hitter and put Holland in. Wow.

Yes, because players should not attempt to break up the DP. As long as the runner can touch second base, I have no problem with it.

Completely agree with you here. Got the opportunity to bust the game wide open. Cards are extremely fortunate to be down one.

Why even have Holland warming up when you have your whole bullpen available anyway? Bad move by Washington, you have a chance to get some breathing room with a hit. You have to pinch hit there.

Ron must be on the 100% pure Columbian shit again.

I wonder if this series would've gone past 5 games if the Rangers had a better in-game manager. Ron seems like a helluva motivator and clubhouse leader but he's just dreadful tactically. Luckily for him LaRussa's been bad this series too.

FF that slide wasnt bush league. That happens in every game all year. Some guys are like 5 feet wide of the bag and cant come close. Holliday was fine. Not even close to the Arod bitch slap.

The Washtington move is bad. Although they were never bringing in Holland that was just part of the decoy. If Lewis goes thru this order again without giving up a run, the move may work out better.

He just struck out Pujols looking.

Looks like nerves. These are routine plays being muffed (by cracky).

No shit. I did a double take when I heard Buck say "3-0." I could have sworn that first pitch was a strike.
