Anyone catch this show? I thought it was very interesting and had a unique premise. Also thought it was very stylized and really entertaining. Unfortunately its in the Friday night death slot and probably won't last past mid-season.

I thought it was really good. A lot more promising than Once Upon a Time.

I thought it was pretty decent. I think the fact that they have another fairy-tale show to compete with during the week could help or hurt them (depending on their angle).

I didn't see the other fairy tale one but this is pretty graphic and dark. It is an interesting concept and I just hope they at least get a full season to flesh it out.

I have every issue of Fables, its one of my favorite running comics.

Don't think there is much of a connection to Grimm though, they are completely different. Unlike the Once Upon a Time show, Grimm doesn't involve any famous fables currently living amongst us.

the premise looks similar, even if the characters are different.

no, the premise is different and the characters are different. Other than that they are the same.

it's a detective story that involves fantastical fairy tales that really exist.

No, its a cop story (might be a cop buddy buddy story) that involves generic fairy tale/supernatural characters that really exist.

Fables is a story about famous fairy tale characters who fled to NYC 100s of years ago to escape war in their homelands and now must deal with the effects of that war spilling over into our world.

Completely different premises, completely different characters.

Did you even watch Grimm?

Eaglo Jeff would also say that.

But I agree. The Grim Fairy Tales aren't really interesting.

i read the synopsis, and it sounded similar to the premise or concept of "fables", shakes. i think you're confusing premise with plot, but whatever. jesus christ. the show's going to get canceled regardless.
