You had Theriot on the phone and you obviously wanted to rail into him about his disrespect of the Cubs and their fans. Instead you turned tail and "presented" yourself to him by saying that you were pulling for him. The man deserved some criticism and appeared ready to take it but you bitched out and played nice. Would if really have done any damage if you went off on him and he chose to never do a show again?

he tried that tactic with jerry reinsdorf when it was silvy & carmen and i don't think they talked to jerry for years after that...or at all since.

Mike North is interesting to say the least when you first hear him.

I could see growing tired of him quickly but he's not boring.

i do not remember the last good interview i heard with a player or even an interview that asked hard questions, always softball questions and boring by any host on any station...north/guillen may be the last i heard.
