Here's a hint: It does not mean unknown.

I will remember that when they have Jim Belushi on.

You think Jim Belushi is obscure?

No and neither is Billy Corgan

Jim Ellison is obscure
Wallace Shawn is obscure.

This argument is weirder than when Schuster called Rose intimidated by LeBron.

"Tonight, Tonight" was a really awesome song. Hawks should use it somehow.

Actually, it's about par for the course of every argument the last month or eight.

I think its "childish" for any radio show to have Billy Corgan on to talk about who the Cubs should or shouldn't have as their new skipper. He is nothing more than a Cubs fan with a guitar. Let Epstien and Hoyer run things the way they want to.

This is a weird debate to engage in, even for this board. I like Corgan and wouldnt really call him obscure but who gives a shit what he has to say about Theo or the Cubs?

Id say when most people read that name they'd have to google it to see who im talking about

Not so for Belushi or Corgan

Wallace Shawn is one of my all time favorite actors. Just tremendous work in everything he is in.

Obscure... You keep saying that word, I do not think it means what you think it means.

KW had no intention of hiring Ozzie until he had him in for an interview.

damn, 3 pages

good to hear Billy's opinion...he is absolutely right...the fact they actually called him to tell him "no" is even worse than just not giving him an interview

what assholes...Ryno will make an awesome manager someday

i'm late to the party, but i never miss an occasion to say "fuck billy corgan up his stupid fucking ass."

i never liked the guy... i just... errrghhafda. idk if the legends are true that the guy is a world class shit to soundmen and venue workers and all of the "little people" who he runs into along the way... and i think he's got some fucked up brother he doesn't talk to or something?

the guy had his time in the 90s... those OG pumpkins had some good songs that weren't necessarily my cup of tea, but i acknowledge their presence in the greater pop culture lexicon of the 1990s.... nowadays i think it's him and a bunch of studio musicians, which is the way a lot of bands with an asshat frontman go (screeching weasel is yet another chicago band that comes to mind... ben's got a bunch of new studio musicians, he's just said no to vapid and jughead is long gone, and he's still cranking out tunes and playing shows @ reggie's...) and yeah.

why is this motherfucker on my radio talking cubs? i know it was some wrestling thing, but i've heard him on other shows b4... silvy and carmen, maybe mcnail... and like, just because this asshole made it big and rich off of music in the 90s his sports opinions carry more weight?! huh?!

i think eddie vedder started out here b4 moving to seattle and making it big with pearl jam, therefore he's another A-list cubs fan... and i fucking loathe that dude, pearl jam and everything they stand for. i loathe corgan, but at least his vintage music was good... but still, i shudder to think that these fucksticks are some sort of representatives for our city more qualified than most to talk cubs just because like, they've sat in the suites and shit... go fuck off and fuck yourself! take the cusacks with you!
