Yeah, he's pulling down a cool million next year but sooner or later he will go back to work. So what will he be doing??

Bench coach for a team in a major rebuilding phase, like the Astros. Alternatively, AAA manager again somewhere anywhere.

There is a reason he has been in the minors for 14 or whatever years. Has something good in him. I could see him as a bench coach as well.

I hope he has a comfortable position in baseball the rest of his life. Seems like a really good dude that loves baseball.

Yeah. Type of guy you would want to grab a few beers with to hear the stories.

I liked the guy but after seeing how he mishandled the pitching staff and his out in the open ass-kissing of the vets,he dug his own grave.

Are you confusing him w/ the ex-Penn State coach?

For sure he gets a coaching job somewhere. Plus he now has a mill in the bank or so. Which I do think was part if the reason Hendry gave him the gig. Like a parting gift,

It's almost kind of chilling. This was one of the most respected guys in the minors for a long time, and yet he failed so miserably in the majors that he's been out of baseball altogether for two years now. He would have been better off never having managed the Cubs.

If your talking about Quade:
I was thinking the same thing recently. He came in as a career minor league guy and I think he was intimidated by the majors. Whatever the problem,it's too bad. He didn't seem like a jerk, just overmatched.

Hendry surprises me. I thought he would have a good job by now.

Quade has a great deal company on that long list of suck.

I was talking about Quade, a clown who was favored by Jim Hendry. Hendry himself is an assistant with the Yankees.
