This reminds me

Apparently the G&R show in Chicago is not the hot ticket that they thought it would be.

One of the older ladies in the office this morning asked me what Guns & Roses was because the tickets are available on Groupon for 61% off face value. She asked me if I thought she would like them. As much as the evil part of me wanted to say yes, I decided to tell her that they sucked and showed her the November Rain video as proof.

Nothing on UYI 1 or 2 is as good or better than anything on Appetite.
$.02.

I agree that Appetite is the better album, but that is not really the point. November Rain is the goods.

SHARK, while I agree with your anti GnR sentiment, you can't play the 'wuss rock' card and then reference Eric Clapton

I never said it was bad. And as a Clapton fan, I wouldn't really disagree with anybody who called 461 Ocean Blvd "wuss rock" either though.

I'm not Free Ajent. I did consider knocking her down and breaking her hip, though.

Is that your way of saying you voted for Kid Cairo threads?

Why do you think a picture of Tay Zonday would be a reference to me?

No, SJ. That's classic rock. SHARK's very much into classic rock, hard rock and guitar rock...

Clapton's solo stuff may be old, but it's soft. Hence, soft rock. And bad.

You should already know how this board works.

You created a negatively-slanted poll and included a popular board member. Almost always, the board member will win the poll. Kinda like the "Lowest IQ" poll that one of the mults started. Everybody knew once they saw Frank Coztansa as one of the poll options that he would win. This board is nothing if not predictible.

SHARK, bands can be classic rock but still be soft/wuss rock.

Just as normally 'heavy' bands can write softer songs from time to time.

IMO, all the long songs off the UYI records except Locomotive could've been dropped
and it would've been a much better end product. It's the long songs that basically don't do it for me.

But Hoffy/shirtless driver isn't winning.

Of the options who else would that picture be referring to?

Understandable.

I actually like the longer ones. Estranged is one of my favorites.
