That's why I said in my original post about being honest about it. I've considered saying that
"I'm moving to a strict No-Pet policy apartment or something and that this little guy really would make a lovely addition to any family......."

I think he would thrive in a cageless shelter among other cats such as the one near my house.
I'm not going to lie by telling you I haven't thought about wrapping him in a blanket in his carrier with his paperwork.
People usually ask for advice when they've no experience dealing with certain problems, so for the few of you who have

Pets are like a eternal 3 yr old and a huge responsibility. You have to work at it. You wouldn't say my 15 year old is a dbag and I need to give him away, you work out the problems. Talk to a vet and see what options you have like a obediance class. Also too the snip might not have fully taken so he's still got some energy there and is trying to take out his frustrations anyway he can.

I'm aware that I talked plenty of shit about my cat in the OP,
