They leave the farm next episode according to the previews. In the previews they are at a suburban neighborhood, my guess is it is Wilshire Estates. Shit will hit the fan there in a big way. In the book they went to wilshire before hitting the farm, but I guess they are reversing that for the show.

I don't think the big reveal of the barn was obvious, not unless you read the comics. I thought they did a good job with that on the show and I imagine that viewers were pretty shocked by it.

I would expect a group member death once they get to Wilshire Estates. In the book, they lost a member there, but that member is not in the TV show. I'm hoping T-Dub gets eaten there.


In the book the baby is definitely Shane's and Rick does know about it...but then again, in the book he already knew about Shane and Lori by this point in the story...and Shane is already dead. In the book, Lori has the baby while they are at the prison, but both Lori and the baby fall victim to the same shotgun blast when the prison is under siege by the governor.

No, I think he's gone by the finale. I read on a different site that he is up for a big part in Dalemburt's new tv show so that could be a clue that he won't be working on this one anymore. Even without that stuff, I'd still believe he will be gone this season, just like I believed it last year and will again next year if he somehow sticks around.

Now, the real question is when it comes time to put a bullet in Shane, will Carl be the one to do it or will AMC puss out and have Rick do it? If they puss out there that could be a make or break moment for me with this show.

If you hate Andrea that much you should probably consider finding a different show to watch. She's part of the holy trinity (her, rick and glenn) and isn't going anywhere. In fact, expect her star to do nothing but rise as the show continues. Throughout the comics she is arguably the leading lady in the cast and one of the most popular characters amongst readers.

I hate Andrea, she sucks and is annoying and should be eaten alive, reanimated and then shot in the head. But, I know the comics so I know the role she plays...she just so happens to be not annoying and stupid with a bitch face in the comic.

I don't know why Shakes is hanging on every moment of this show and comparing it to the comics. I think they've already proved that the comic has been completely thrown out the window for the most part, and the story is progressing in an entire new way. I'm fine with that, and I think they are doing a pretty damn good job. Who wants to see a story played out identically to how it was in a book?

They've definitely deviated from the comics to a certain extent, but in terms of the big picture and the main characters they've pretty much towed the line. Rick, Andrea and Glenn are all developing the same way they did in the comics, the story will go from the farm to the prison just like in the comics. Aside from a few minor characters getting earlier deaths (sophia) or later deaths (Shane) the show has stayed pretty true to the source material. We didn't get the Wilshire Estates scene that i was hoping for, but in the grand scheme of things its a very minor scene.

To say they've thrown the comics completely out the window for the most part is a huge overstatement.

As for wanting them to follow the comics, I don't really care if they make some deviations provided they improve the story, but overall I would like to see them follow the comic outline since it such an amazing story and can't really be improved upon. The show has been very good, but it pales compared to the books. However, if they start making changes for the sake of saving money or pussing out on some of the more controversial scenes from the book I'll be pretty pissed. They already did that imo by not casting the two twin boys. Their fate in the books is pretty amazing and would've been extremely controversial on tv.

I haven't watched Sunday's episode yet, but it doesn't sound like I am missing a whole lot.

I will admit; I'll also be disappointed if everyone is "already infected".

I can see why you would be disappointed. I never found the whole "everyone is infected" thing to be that big a deal so I didn't understand why they tried to make it some big cliffhanger in the tv show. To me, it really doesn't change the way you live your life, all it does is add one more thing you have to do to a person after they're dead.


As for the two cops that weren't bit, the question I have is how did they die then?

the world is already overcome with dead so don't really understand the point you're trying to make. All that would change is now when someone dies of non zombie issues, you have to shoot them in the head just make sure they stay dead. When this happens you you'll already be dead so it probably won't bother you too much.

So, like I said, don't see how this changes things in anway. You would still spend your life trying to stay alive in the middle of a zombie appocalypse, it wouldn't alter that or change that in any way.
