A thousand apologies to newper and the remaing participants. I knew there was something else I had to do this weekend. By the time I remembered, it was too late...

I almost forgot to submit picks. I literally sent them in at 11:59.

I received a $20 paypal payment from an anonymous benefactor Saturday night requesting only one thing -- that I purge the emails received in the Survivor box and email back a screenshot as proof. So I guess we will just have to take him at his word on this one. Next time, I'll check for sure.

Yeah, this is definitely the last hurrah for it. I did have one contestant apologize that he didn't have any time to spend on this which was genuine and I can understand that happening.

My next concern is not to have the jury filled with people who totally aren't paying attention and voting at random. :)

Newp, you got what you deserve. This is what happens when you allow the two biggest personalities in the game to get voted out 1 and 2. You think Mark Burnett would ever allow that to happen? You think people are tuning into this game to see Peeps and Panther? If Burnett was running this game me and Jorr would've woken up day 2 to find "hidden" immunity idols stuffed in our inboxes.

They're probably all preoccupied with global warming. It causes freakish weather conditions.

I'll read the votes... but first...

There was an idol played: IMU is playing a valid immunity idol and votes cast for him will not count.

First vote is for Hawg Ass. Second vote also for Hawg Ass. The third vote is for IMU and will not be counted. Vote #4 is for sjboyd. The fifth vote is for IMU and won't be counted. Hawg Ass gets the sixth vote, and is leading the voting 3 to sjboyd's singleton. Hawg also gets the seventh vote. The final vote is for IMU. Hawg Ass has the most votes and is eliminated.

Left in the game (strike totals in parens)

IMU (0)
Panther (2)
sjboyd0137 (0)
jackref (0)
Northside Dan (2)
RFDC (0)
Douchebag (2)
RPB (2)

Next challenge to be unveiled by Thursday... and by the way, the first vote counts for elimination voting.

Time for a simple contest.

This will be a confidence pool picked straight up for both the NFL and NCAA. You have point values from 15 to 1.
You must pick one side of a matchup and assign a number. If that team wins, you'll win that number of points.
Note that there are twenty games listed here, so you'll have five left over if you do this right. You obviously cannot pick both sides of one game.

Please submit either the name of the opponent or the college/pro status so I don't have to figure out what things like "Arizona" or "Cincinnati" mean.

Entries are due by Saturday at noon:

NCAA
====

Michigan @ Iowa (must submit entry before 11:00 if you choose this)
Virginia @ Maryland (must submit entry before 11:30 if you choose this)
Ole Miss @ Kentucky
Cincinnati @ Pitt
South Florida @ Rutgers
Mizzou @ Baylor
South Carolina @ Arkansas
Utah @ Arizona
LSU @ Alabama
Utah State @ Hawaii

NFL
====

NY Jets @ Buffalo
Miami @ Kansas City
Atlanta @ Indianpolis
Seattle @ Dallas
Tampa Bay @ New Orleans
San Francisco @ Washington
Cincinnati @ Tennessee
St. Louis @ Arizona
Green Bay @ San Diego
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh

Top three finishers were Northside Dan, douchebag, and sjboyd and they may choose one of these advantages:
* Five Alive: Pick the winners of the five games you don't choose. If you get them all correct, add 15 points. Get four correct and add 5 points. If you miss, it will not be revealed that you chose this option.
* Takedown: Submit another players name. They, and another contestant chosen by random.org (you will be excluded), will be docked 4 points. The player you chose will not be revealed and it will not be revealed that you chose this option.
* A Little Help: For your top three picks (15-13), you'll be given a 2.5 point boost to your selection's final score in that game. If you need this in order to have a victory, it will be revealed, but if you would have won the game or lost even with the boost, it will not be revealed that you chose this option.

Highest point total wins with the following tiebreakers:
1) Most correct picks in the contest
2) Highest individual point total game picked correctly
3) First submitted date/time
4) Ever play checkers with chess pieces?
5) That wasn't a clue, I'm just rambling now.

Top two finishers get a bonus next round while the winner will have immunity for this vote off.

Alright, it is official... JackRef wins! Boyd was right on his heels.. if he had gone for Baltimore last night, it would have forced a tie breaker.

It is voting time. Panther and RPB have picked up a 3rd strike and are out of here. Here's all that's left to vote for:

IMU
Boyd
jackref <-- immune this round of voting
NS Dan
RFDC
Douchebag

Votes need to be in by 7, idols played by 8:45 on Wednesday.
