CBS-Person of Interest is the only new show that I enjoy. Hawaii Five-0 is the returning show I'm glad is back.

NBC-Chuck whenever it comes back. Up All Night wasn't bad.

ABC-Glad Modern Family is back.

Fox-Sunday shows are steady. Fringe as well. I'll give New Girl a shot for a few more weeks.

CW-Ringer.

CBS: Meh
NBC: Community (good), Office (not awful), Parks & Rec (good), Whitney (cancelled before Christmas)
ABC: Modern Family was fine
Fox: Family Guy and American Dad were both awful this week. Raising Hope cracks me up.
I don't know what the CW is
FX: Always Sunny is bringing the funny

Of the new shows:

Person of Interest: Wanted this to be good, but hit delete after a half hour cause it sucked a lot.
New Girl: Only new sitcom that was any good.
Up All Night: Turned it off after 15 minutes, sucked.
Revenge: Haven't watched it yet, but recorded it after it got good reviews
Terra Nova: Dinosaurs!
New Girl: Not the worst thing in the world

I guess I'll never know. I went and read the reviews and it didn't sound that good so I'm just gonna take a pass on it.

Whitney was better than expected. The commercials portray her character incorrectly. She's actually an awkward girl who is dating someone way out of her league. I thought she was a know-it-all girl who "tells it like it is" from the commercials.

2 broke girls is not bad either. New Girl was good.

This is Chuck's last season - announced that last year. 13 episodes I think.

I believe this is the most girl talk I have seen from Boilermaker Rick. FTR I agree, whether I agree or not I agree. They are on my better half's play list. It is in my best interest to agree.

And the Playboy Club is the first casualty of the TV season.

And Whitney and Up All Night received full season orders.

I wanted to bump this, to see what people think about 2 and a Half men with Kutcher instead of Sheen.

I would say it's gone from one of the best shows to now one of the worst shows on tv, I thought last week's episodes was one of their worst and didn't rebound much last night.

I won't spoil it for people who haven't seen it yet, but it looks like the change is now complete.

Two and Half Men has always been bad. Bad, low-brow, dumb comedy for the masses.

NBC is stopping Community mid season. They are still going to air it at some point apparently, just not sure when. So basically it's cancelled.

WTF! Its one of the best shows on tv! It might've slipped a bit this year, but its still a helluva lot better than the Office.

Agreed. And Brita and Annie are hotter than anything on the office.

Like most crap on TV,I thought Community sucked. 30 Rock with it's leftwing rants in the guise of a witty comedy are getting old, too. Tina Fey is funny and has a lot of lent but not everything needs to be an agenda.

I wondered how that show went on as long as it did...

Guys, I think the word you are looking for is "hiatus". It doesn't mean that "Community" or other shows that are benched are necessarily cancelled. The networks want to try other shows in that time slot as an experiment.

The funny thing is that there have been high performing shows that went on hiatus, and never came back to the ratings level they were at. Those usually coincided with high production costs (Heroes, Terminator: TSCC off the top of my head).

As a side note anyone know the most successful midseason replacement show of all time?

Wasn't Heroes on a downturn though? Like, with critics and viewers...it was only a matter of time before those jaded viewers became jaded non-viewers.

The answer is yes. "Heroes" was one of those shows that seemed to confuse viewers and drove viewers away before it got cancelled a couple years ago by NBC.

I know these shows are done in advance and this in regards to the Penn State situation, but on Monday night, if you watched 2 and a half men, Mike and Molly, and Hawaii 5-0, they brought up about people being with young kids.

Then on House, they couldn't figured out the kid's illness, his real father comes to visit him and when he walks away and House say you have syphillis and the dad had molested the kid.

Then I was watching Covert Affairs, and the shirt was covered up, but on it was 2 words and you could Enn Sta, and I wonder if it was a Penn State shirt, or maybe she meant to wear it, but they had to do some edit to cover it up.

I just thought it was intresting after you hear the Penn State issues, and then watch tv and you see all this.

I don't know if anybody caught Family's Guy Thanksgiving episode, that was one of the funniest Thanksgiving-them shows in some time.
