 what are you talking about? I highly doubt this will cost Cutler money or lifestyle. He'll be fine. The Bears will likely be fucked this season. That is amusing to me. I know you have a hard time grasping things but move along now.

You are clearly trying to instigate over something obvious - as is your habit lately. There has been 4 (or more?) threads started in 30 minutes, twitter is blowing up, and NBC reported it as breaking news at halftime. But then again, you say it's just no big deal. You're right. Good times.

6 weeks would have him back for the wild card round and 8 would be the NFC championship and that is not factoring in getting him back to game shape/knock the rust off. A return at all this season sounds unllikely given that timeline and the nature of the injury most likely associated with that timeline.

This is the second Sunday in a row you've had trouble following what I'm saying. Like last week, this isn't complicated and you're trying to change the argument. This is obviously big news in the NFL just like the Schaub injury was. But I was originally replying to frank saying stay classy and I really don't consider a broken thumb all that serious. Maybe you have lived as sheltered as IMU and you do. But most people I'm friends with would not find it morally wrong to laugh at a broken thumb. I'm the same way. Like I said, sucks for the Bears, big deal to them, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I'm sorry you cant see past Twitter.

I broke my pinky toe in my flag football league and was able to keep playing. I have no idea why this spoiled crybaby can't, and did you see his facial expressions after the interception? Good riddance, hopefully Caleb Hanie turns out to be a real leader like Tim Tebow.

You're acting like an idiot. For the second week in a row.

It's a sports board and the local QB broke his thumb, in the midst of a 5 game wining streak - clearly heading to another playoff run . It's a big deal. Sorry if you can't realize it.

But congrats on breaking your finger in the past, FF. I respect that. Zephmarshack just summed it up nicely.

It's impossible you're this stupid spanky.

Stop trying to tell me how big a deal it is to the Bears. It is, and I said that originally. I still feel no guilt for laughing at it because it's not really gonna alter his life all that much.

You're the only one talking about his life.

No one else cares.

Fans care about how it affects the Bears.

Um, actually your original response to all of this was, and I quote (as Frank did):

Did I miss somewhere in there where you said how big of a deal this is to the Bears?

 Why do you keep doing this? You stick your neck out, get called out, and then get proven wrong by several posters....and then you just keep.............doing it.

Sorta like Peeps just did. And Frank. And Ugie and everybody else last week.

Nobody's proven anything. I was responding to frank saying stay classy and then you felt the need to jump in like last week and try to change the argument.

Fellas Fellas... Calm down... Don't let Jay Cutler's thumb and eventual permanent post surgery inaccuracy drive a wedge thru this board like the nba lockout already has...

Spanky brought up his lifestyle. I was pointing put how stupid that was since this won't alter his lifestyle in any significant way.

Yes, because that was my honest response. I was laughing. But when you tried talking shit for no reason I readily said it was a big deal to the bears but I don't consider it classless to laugh at. It's just not that serious. I'm sorry you think it is. Try getting out more.

who cares about his fucking lifestylre?!?!

the guy was taking bonafide fucking steps to being THE MAN in chicago... the franchise QB. that TD throw to knox was the kind of QB play i dreamed of for the last 10 years... this team was the first team in TEN FUCKING YEARS i'm really proud of and not thinking it's some sort of house of cards thats gonna collapse... yeah they werent gonna win the super bowl prolly, but this team looked like it had a shot. it played fun football... hell martz's playcalling rebounded nicely this week after being utter shit after they got up 20-0....

and now it's all over. poof. hanietime my ass.... seriously go get favre or something. you know he'd LOVE to be a member of the bears and go beat the packers and ruin their undefeated season.

and if/when he sucks and gets smeared behind the line in the martz offense, welp, its favre and he had it coming =D

Just read the thread again and after Frank said stay classy, you pointed out that it sucks for the Bears but wasn't a big deal.

Well yeah, that is still my stance. But spanky was brought up how "losing a wrist" would effect a QB's lifestyle, which is silly, because Cutler's lifestyle won't falter because of this. This is a big deal for the Bears though because it probably ends their season. I'm guessing most Bear fans would laugh if Rodgers got hurt for 6-8 weeks. This is no different.

Far more important than the implications for the Chicago Bears football team are the implications for the Chicago Bears PR department.

I dont think you mean this.

If Tony Stewart Breaks his right leg, it affects his lifestyle.
If LeBron Breaks his right arm it affects his lifestyle.
If Albert Pujols breaks his right wrist - it affects his lifestyle.

Are you sure you wanna stick with this?
