Getting Rick to admit something= POTD material

Even though we won't know for another few hours who claims Kyle Orton, this is why the Bears should make every effort to get Kyle back.

For starters, Mike Martz is STILL the offensive coordinator. While the Bears' coaching staff has a lot of confidence in Caleb Hanie taking over the offense starting Sunday in Oakland, Martz can't stand Hanie and privately wants #12 to fail and fall flat on his face these next several weeks with Jay Cutler on the shelf. Second, the last thing the Bears want to do is play 5th round pick Nathan Enderle considering where the Bears are at in the NFC Wildcard derby. Enderle's one play away from actually playing in a game if Hanie gets injured himself. You don't want that to happen.

Here's another reason why you get Orton back. When Cutler comes back from the broken thumb on his throwing hand, whether it's in the NFL Playoffs or come training camp, the Bears would be wise to have a capable backup in the event Cutler gets injured in a game again. Wouldn't it be something to have the guy you traded along with 2 first round picks to Denver to get Cutler here be Jay's potential #2 on the depth chart next year?
