I'd switch Common and Royce, but other than that I'm in agreement.

Going from being Nas to being HOVA is like having the screenname Jordan and then one day deciding to be Karl Malone

The history was erased but the name lives on. I was considering a switch.

Common by a landslide. I feel that he was absolutely perfect on Like Water For Chocolate with Dilla's excellent production and appeareance by DJ premiere on the "6th Sense."

1.Like Water for Chocolate
2. One Day It'll All Make Sense
3. Resurrection
4.Be.
5. Electric Circus
6. Can I borrow a Dolar?
7. Finding Forever
I don't count UMC, an abortion of an album.

I prefer Nas as well... He was so good when I saw him live @ rock the bells back in 2007... Nas is probably the best story teller ever, even though some people say slick rick is better in that regard... I just think they've both released some misses...

Other that his last album being awful I don't recall any other Nas misses. Granted it wasn't as mainstream as it used to be but that's only because he didn't adapt like Jay-Z did. He was rapping over a lot of listeners head for some reason.

Slick Rick was the first great rap storyteller, but others may have done it better since. Eminem is very underrated in that regard. Stan is still one of the best rap songs ever made. Pharoahe Monch is also a great hip hop storyteller. Check out Trilogy 1, 2, and 3 off Monch's "Desire" album.

We are not discussing Pop stardom or who sold out the most.

Record Sales does not equal quality.

I dont know how anyone could think it does with some of the people who have sold millionss.

Anyway, I guess Eminem is your favorite rapper since he's outsold Jay z

Oh and also, you must have Snoop like top 10 all time. :D

Because he's an artist and not a record salesman?

Ghostface tells some good stories. Not saying he's with Nas or as good as some consider Slick Rick but he's pretty good.

How can I help the poor if I'm one of them? I got rich and gave back, that's a win win.
