You know what this means, folks. WWME 23 and those stations along the MeTV Network will likely devote a weekend to Harry's passing with a "M*A*S*H" & "Dragnet" marathon in the next week or two...Seriously.

Seriously, since MeTV went national about a year ago, they've done marathon tributes to Tom Bosley, a.k.a. "Howard Cunningham" from "Happy Days", Lucille Ball on what would've been her 100th birthday, as well as James Arness, a.k.a. "Marshal Dillon" on "Gunsmoke". I expect them to do the same for Harry with 2 of his most famous roles and shows in the wake of his death.

BigFan, the 1983 finale of "M*A*S*H" is still the highest rated final episode in TV history to this day.

MASH is great. For all you trivia buffs out there, I believe the kids movie The Cat From Outer Space, happens to star both MASH colonels, with both Harry Morgan and McClain Stevenson. Shark, can we get a confirmation?

Yes, 24_Guy is correct, and here's the proof:

Being in Canada has immediately lowered your I.Q. by fifty (50) points at least. That is like eighty-five (85) points in the metric system.

I just watched one of the best episodes last week. Both of those guys were not saints in real life. Morgan was charged with assault on his wife about 5-10 years ago. Mamie Van Doren said Web used to like being tied up during sex.

Sgt. Joe Friday: All right, I'll talk to *you* Johnson- You were born in Harlan, Kentucky. Your father was a house painter, killed in the war. Your mother and your sister brought you out here. You went to school in Torrance. You got *expelled* for throwing a punch at your math teacher. The army took you during the Korean War. *They* didn't want you: they shoved you out on a *Section 8*! For seven years now, you've either been *in* jail, or *just getting out*!
Harry Johnson: [sarcasticly] I *do* hope you'll write my *book*!
Sgt. Joe Friday: [continues] Now your buddy, he's *really* big-time; Three states want him for parole violations- two for armed robbery, and one for statutory rape, that's in Kansas.
Officer Bill Gannon: You remember her *name*, don't you, Kensington?
Roger Kensington: [sarcasticly] What if I *don't*?
Officer Bill Gannon: You *should*-! She was your *sister's daughter*!
[Johnson looks at Kensington with surprize]

Yes, thanks Shark! Although I misspelled McLean's name as McClain. I have Die Hard on the mind.

With all due respect, M*A*S*H went downhill after they killed off Colonel Blake. First three years or whatever were among the best television ever created.

I don't know, W_Z... exactly how many weeks ago was it that you looked him up? At 96, it's possible that you looking him up actually kept him alive longer.

(I think that makes sense)
