Yes. We've been through this - DeJesus is just a guy, coming a bad injury and one of his worst seasons.

The last numbers I saw on Cuddyer came out to around 3 for 30. Nice player, no thank you.

I agree completely. Cuddyer has already been offered 3 yrs/24 by the Twins.

I don't think so, Phil. Cuddyer is an underrated guy. I'm not sure he's that valuable as an everyday guy at first though.

If you're gonna do the Santos deal, there's absolutely no reason to bring in Cuddyer.

Pretty sure you're lost.

This isn't the Sox section. I understand your confusion though, seeing bigfan posting so much. :P

Either get Prince to jump start the rebuilding with an eye towards '14 or just save the cash and put LaHair there.

The point is they aren't going to win in '12 so why would we want the Cuddyers of the world? Fuck the mediocrity. Try to develop a young player or go big.

LaHair just turned 29!!!!!!! He's not a prospect man. Let it go. If you really want to develop someone for the future make it someone else.

The point is MONEY. LaHair is 500K, Cuddyer is gonna be at what 5-7M? Fuck paying that for a team that MAY win 75 games at best. Give the job to LaHair, bank the money and invest it into player development and then if LaHair blows, cut his ass. THEY WILL NOT WIN IN 2012 so why drop 5-7M on some mediocre veteran?

FUCK THAT.

My POINT is LaHair is a washed up AAA ballplayer. If you are going to go the cheap ass youth movement then at least start someone who is young. And also fuck the youth movement. The Cubs aren't the Royals. I don't like the Cuddyer move either but watching LaHair for an entire year will be like reliving the Mike Quade era all over again. The Cubs aren't the little sisters of the poor.

When somebody who hasn't had multiple strokes breaks the news let me know. What do you think the money and years on Prince will be now that Pujols got 10 and 250......like 6 and 120?
