...is that now there's no way that any even sub-competent GM/player-personnel guy can claim that "injuries" were what derailed the season, as these last few games have made it evident that some pretty-significant changes need to be made on both sides of the ball (tho mainly offense).

obviously, caleb hanie fucking blows and having him stay as your #2 quarterback is a fucking joke that would be an affront to any bears fan who pays $$$ for merchandise or tickets to attend games. caleb had a chance here to prove that he belongs in the NFL; instead he's proven that he's a #3-at-best whose real value is in holding clipboards and running scout teams. there is no way in hell we should go into next year with caleb hanie as our #2 quarterback.

the offensive line is... offensive. the lack of WRs has helped to maximize the sucktitude of caleb hanie. while he's made some utterly shit throws that a 10-foot-tall calvin johnson couldn't catch, still, he hasn't been helped out by the shit shit shit shit shit shit WRs we have. bennett is fine. knox is fine as a gimmick guy who has ~2-3 games/season where he's like ~3/112 or something.. otherwise, you have JACK SHIT there. roy will must go. devin hester hurts your offense when he's a WR...

if it isn't FUCKING OBVIOUS to the numerous haters out there just how good jay cutler actually is and moreover how valuable he is to this team, then they need to be beaten severely for the principle of it. seriously, cutler's value to the bears is in the ballpark, if not right there with peyton manning's value to the colts. much like the colts, with jay cutler the bears are a for-sure playoff team with a small-but-decent % chance to contend for a super bowl title. without him, we're one of the worst teams in football. seriously. even if forte doesn't get injured, i bet we still lose last week and this week... forte wasn't going to be walter payton reincarnate out there when teams know that caleb hanie is the QB so all they gotta do is stop teh run and then the bears offense is lucky to score more than 6 points.

ok i'm going to shut up now... but at least now there's no fucking doubt that this wasn't a VERY GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM THAT CAUGHT THE INJURY BUG, no, it was a fucking bad-to-(mediocre-at-best) football team who was only a good football team because our FUCKING UNDERRATED quarterback held everything together hoopty deville style with fucking duct tape, safety pins, and loose string. once he left, it all fell to shit real quick.... and thats why we have to pray that angelo retires and that ruskell happens to be a little less bad than jerry angelo. the end.

My guy!

Solid post. This team is full of holes and can't compete without Cutler. Other teams are winning w/o their starting QB's and other players but the Bears really aren't all that good at the core.
