I had to run home at lunch, so I swung through the drive thru in Palatine on my way back to 53...the one on Barrington is probably about 7 miles from the office.

It's not, but it was the easiest drive thru to go to on my way back to work...I'm not a McDonalds fan, and the Taco Bell on Dundee is a pain in the ass to go East out of.

we were treated to a holiday lunch at manhattan's in carol stream. good app's, turkey/ham club w/fries for main course and a house salad, followed by egg nog cheese cake.

had to crank some iPod tunes in the afternoon to stay awake.

i'm too focused on eating my own food to look at someone else's. if it gets in my way, i'll eat it though, a la augustus gloop's dad with the microphone when they tried to interview him.

I had jebus chicken today. Decided to give it a second chance. Had the spicy chicken with cheese and pickles. It was ok, not something I would go out of my way for but if I was in the area and they were there I might stop in for it.

i'd actually rather go there than a franchise place, and luckily there aren't any around. it's that or augustino's (which is normally too crowded) or village pub (which sucks the root)...and then there's fast food. or mario's for pizza.

i'm deeply ashamed to say I bought a Papa Johns pizza a few weeks back...haven't had it in probably 10-15 years and something evil inside told me it was a good idea

it seriously was the most disgusting pizza i've ever had. i would rather have had a Tombstone or Jack's frozen

Nothing wrong with these at all from time to time. I'll throw some extra cheese and some onion on it to spruce it up a little.

No sir, I do not...the mall is the only place around the office I can escape to when I need to get out of here for an hour...home is too far away, and I don't day drink when I have to go back to work. Also, when I'm wandering around the mall, there is always that slight chance that I will go all Boyd on some poor, unsuspecting dumbass that gets in my way...which will entertain the lot of you.

You've never tried the chicken livers at Sweet Maple? They're out of bounds! I cover 'em with Louisiana hot sauce. That way I've got the sweet, the salty, the spicy and it's all workin' together, There's a couple fine ass waitresses too. Bonus!
