And apparently it wasn't Mully nor Hanley.

And Spiegs was giving it to them (in a joking but serious way) about supporting the "team" just now.

What happened, Biggie? Where were your boys?

They probably wake at 3:00 AM or earlier everyday. I can understand them not being there.

Yeah, BIGFAN, where were your hero's? Where were your hosts of your favorite radio show in Chicago?

Bad show, bad hosts, bad teammates, bad humor.....JUST BAD.

The party started at 5:30 last night....that's real late to show your face for a quick minute.

Its not like they do it anyway....and it was more of a CBS thing than it was a Score thing.

Punny: One person from this show was farty last night? I think there is something you can take for that!

Screamy: Speaking of arses, did ya see, I mean did ya see, Barber run out of bounds!? UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Punny: The last time I saw a barber do something that bad was when mine thought I'd look good with a mullet.

Screamy: HAH! Really appreciate that a ton! Thanks for sharing...

Punny: eh ight, the last time I was thanked for sharing was when I gave the rest of my Catholic school athletes foot!

Yeah, BIGFAN, where were your hero's? Where were your hosts of your favorite radio show in Chicago?

Bad show, bad hosts, bad teammates, bad humor.....JUST BAD.

Maybe they are just too cool for the likes of a Spiegel???? Ever thought of that?

And if you want to keep calling them my HEROES, <----this is how you spell it. Not HERO's

I almost never correct people here, because you type something up and as long as the point comes across that's cool, but in your case I will make an exception as it obvious this is not a mistake, just a pure lack of education.

Bigfan Where are your Heroes? This is the correct spelling of the plural of hero.

What you continue to type is Hero's, as in "Is this your Hero's blow up doll?"

Unless you meant the Samwiches, which would be HEROS, but would make no sense.

Ironically, M&H provide this lesson about once a week when people text in with "Your an idiot" and really should be "You're an idiot" = YOU ARE an idiot. <---this is always ironic alone.

Another benefit of daily M&H listening.

Have a wonderful evening

I gotta say, I think 80% of the Score guys would be fun to hang out with.

Let's be honest. Laurence would suck. There's no getting around that. Even if you somehow like his show, it doesn't mean he would be fun in a social setting. He wouldn't.

Les would be ok, but you'd have to make up an excuse to walk away from him while he's mid-manifesto.

Hanley would be pathetic, but that's when you and your lady have a little drinking contest every time he provides a Hanley. There's no worries of him delivering a 5 Hanley, so your good to go for the rest of the night around that guy.

I would ignore Mac.

Terry, Dan, Mully, Spiegs, Jason, Matty would rock.

If Murph was still there, I would avoid him at all costs. Though I did like his show.

Ranger would be phenomenal.

Ranger is phenomenal. About the most regular, down to earth guy to talk to at the station, IMO.
Les too, but definitely might be hard to find an escape plan if he gets nostalgic.

Mac is fun to hang with if you're on the same level on alot of his interests, but sometimes the rest of his crowd gets a bit over-macho. Better to hang with him without his ALS, although I have been accused of that.

Even Bernsie can be ok to hang with if you just talk to him like a normal dude and not try to impress him. Terry on the other hand, he either likes you or he doesn't.....plain and simple. Got no problem with anyone there, really.

The year I had the honor and privelige of going to The Score Christmas Party back in '97 was one of the best parties I've ever been to. It was at Ditka's and they had an excellent spread.

They had karaoke and the DJ ended up being a guy name Eric that I went to grade school with.

I remember a much younger LoHo being at the table with me and Swieca and a few others. Excellent food, drink and peeps....and the beautiful latino receptionists were flirting with me. All in all, a great time and wonderful memory. 8)

So when is Drinky gonna post something here about the party? Jason maybe?

You love Pappy despite his disingenuity? He has many other redeeming qualities?

I think some of Mac disingenuousness has more to do with him not really knowing what to do. I think he does the best he can.

Mully, Mully will be King
Because he, he loves the Queen
Though nothing will drive them away
M&H can be HERO'S just for one day
If they can be funny just for one day

Mac is about as genuine as they come. Doesn't play games, except of course his plays....whole nother story. Has a temper yes, but real.

North on the other hand, seemed real, but always had ulterior motives, IMO.

Not that it's a good thing or something to brag about, but I don't think his friends are in prison (outside of that suicidal Webio douchebag). North is a fake tough guy with a big mouth. Spaceball is a rougher character than Mike North.

The only ex-partners that seem to have even a smidgen of friendship, or respect for Mac are Jurko, and possibly Boers.

Who has that dude alienated along the way? Jiggs, Tiny, you know Spiegs can't stand him......

Then there's the collatarel (<---sp) damage too: Murph, Pappy, Bernsie, ESPN, CBS/Score to some extent, Mully/Hanley, ...........

Whatever you think about McNeil, he's a real guy. He used to be far more of a blowhard and I actually liked his shows better, but I would never question his genuineness.

I don't get the ES thing or why other shows like him. That I'll give ya.

I give him a pass on some stuff considering some of his issues. Not completely sure why he left here but if I were him I'd have gotten tired of some of the same old same old stuff too.

Don't like the show now but I'd blame Meat for that too. Maybe Mac and his show have changed some but I wouldn't say it's phony. I think it comes from someplace else.

He loved everybody here until the suckiness of the Spiegs show, with Mac.....forced some members to call him out. How did he handle that?

He wheezes the whole time he's on the radio. He'd rather talk fishing, grilling, 70's music, gambling, parody songs, and whatever other nonsense over Bears, Bulls, Sox, Cubs, Hawks.

He has no idea what's going on in the sports mecca around him. And is now being carried by the guy that was severely questioned as his sidekick in the first place.

Almost everything you say about Mac could be applied to North.

Keeping Score, is totally off on this one.

However, what he did type is wrong for Mac, but yes correct for North.

I have met a number of media people, have had numerous holiday dinners with one, even dated one for a few months and will tell you first hand Mac is about as genuine as any of them.
