You're not satisfied with the tales of Benji and his girlfriend, JD, and Ronnie?

Sal, we don't have a guest today. Pretend you don't know where Mexico is for 35 minutes...

Are there any shows worth downloading this week?

Eric the Midget was afraid of getting eaten by werewolves in New Mexico. I think that was Monday's show.

So, pretty much, no.

Beet was in this past Tuesday, although he sounded strangely coherent. Still, a good listen.

I really wish I could love this show again. Maybe I've grown up. It could be the fault of others.

SternFansNetwork was shot down in apparent response to it having superior support after SFN returned. Dawgsaloon seems to be the new gathering place if anyone is interested.

This is what the owner of sternfanSnetwork said about the whole thing:

Mike wrote:
Here's some info on what happened.

I knew something was going on last week. I got call about selling the domain name and deleting the db. The phone number was one digit off from the one Steve Langford used to call me with so I know it had to do with someone on stern's team. It was for a few hundred bucks and i turned it down. The whole site was looked at and every news story link and the file sharing board got reported. It was either close it down or have multiple lawsuits. There was no way I could come up with the money to fight it. I couldn't take the chance and move the backup db to another domain.

Before I shut it down I asked Dawg can I make a post on here about what happened and he said sure. You guys from SFsN never caused a problem for me or BethSucks and we thank you for it.

No more bullshit.

I have a feeling his America's Got Talent gig is going to just about end my consumption of the stern brand

i have to admit, it's been insufferable to listen to the america's got talent stuff. it's extremely annoying and self-serving. he's become a true hollywood kiss up.

it's really a shame because i still enjoy him riffing on the news with robin and some of the antics of the show...although there hasn't been a lot of richard and sal lately.

but the AGT stuff is basically like listening to that jerk on the phone bragging about a sale he made that day or something. i just don't give a shit...why didn't he just end his radio show so he could take this gig? there is no point in trying to balance both things.

Considering I used to listen to about every minute, it's sucks not wanting to listen at all. I was already on hiatus when the AGT stuff happened. I knew that pretty much sealed the end of my listening days altogether. I do miss the news, and if I end up in the car for long trips again, I might pickup satellite and listen to that portion.

I pretty much only listen to Geektime and What's Worth Watching exclusively on those networks any more.

Howard is pretty boring unless he has a good guest.

They are using that playbook this morning. Sal can't pronounce Elle MacPherson's name, despite her being a guest yesterday.

Howard: Elle
Sal: Ellie
Howard: Elle
Sal: That's what I said, Ellie.

I used to listen to every minute of every show, and now I can't make it more than twenty minutes.
