So Lovie once again says "We won't have too many weeks like this".

Hey dipshit, the season is over. You've had "too many weeks" like this.

And Angelo, go ahead and retire and take Ruskell with you. What a fucking steaming pile of shit this roster is.

I was going to post the same thing. I heard this too & couldn't believe it. Seriously, how fucking stupid is Lovie? You suck & lose 5 games in a row & then you say that "we wont have many weeks like this"? Unreal.
If Hanie starts next week , I take back the props I gave him earlier in the year.

J'Marcus Webb cannot be the starting left tackle for this team next year.

This team will be facing some gigantic decisions in the off-season, which can't come fast enough for me. Angelo, Phillips and Hanie all must not return next year. The Bears need to find a competent back up for Cutler for the remainder of his (Cutler's) contract. Cutler should have NO say in that decision.

Also, the OL and Defense need to be looked at with glaring needs at safety, D-lineman and CB's. Major Wright the fucking china doll can go fuck himself. Conte is suspect and Steltz is slow.

Bears need to throw money at a Brandon Marshall or any top receiver because besides EB they all suck. RW can leave as well as Sanzenbacher. Kellen Davis and Spaeth are usable. Devin should never see the field as a WR. If you can trade Devin in the off-season, so be it.

Thank God for the Hawks and Bulls.

Let the record show the Bears and Hanie were doing fine until all of you brought your negativity to my game day thread.

Agree...the occasional 25 yard return isn't making up for all the punts he refuses to even fair catch, letting them bounce backwards for an extra 10 yards. And I swear one of those bounces is going to hit a teammate for a turnover soon.

I have said this since 2006; The Bears should have sold high with Hester & traded him after the Super Bowl season. He was so over valued the Bears could have fleeced a few teams with Devin. Having said that, he has been a hell of a lot of fun to watch the last 5 years, but his value now is very low.

If his value now is low, why would you try to trade him?

I said they should have traded him after the Bears Super Bowl year. They would get a bag of balls for Hester now.

i think he still has value because he's still a dynamic return man. he could still be an asset on a team without a lot of offensive firepower, like the chiefs or something.

The Chiefs have Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe (at least for now), Steve Breaston, Jon Baldwin and a pretty good TE. Guys are banged up but they have firepower.

He shouldn't be a starter period. He had good game against Jared Allen, but otherwise has been awful just about all season.

My assumption is that if he's not starting at left tackle, he's not starting anywhere. Certainly he won't be the right tackle--provided Carimi returns.

I would be interested to hear Nas's assessment of Webb's season, given his preseason projection that Webb has the potential to be a very good or elite NFL left tackle.

I got it right with Lance Louis but it appears that Webb just isn't getting it. He has all the tools to be a really good LT so I can only assume that it's between the ears. IIRC someone posted something about him having a problem focusing and some other mental issues earlier in the season. My opinion at the time was if those things were true he shouldn't be on the field.

as I've said all along, Webb is supposed to be highly intelligent but he makes many stupid mistakes and repeats them

What do the following Bear QBs have in common? Caleb Hanie, Jonathan Quinn and if you are an older Bear fan, Rusty Lisch?

All 3 of these QBs sported the #12 for the Bears, and were all bad at football. Tbe one good guy that sported #12, Erik Kramer, gave the Bear record books quite a workout in 1995.

At this stage of his career, Lance Louis is "a guy." Maybe he'll become something more, maybe not. Webb is a freaking disaster.

Considering this is his first full year playing after the making the transition from TE I think his future is bright. The guy made a flawless transition from RG to RT. He's looked dominant many times.

You said similar things about Webb earlier this year. Louis had a couple very good games earlier this year, but hasn't looked so hot lately, most notably against the Chiefs.

I agree that the arrow is pointing up for Louis.

Webb should follow Hanie up to the CFL. He is fucking terrible. I would rather Omiyale to be honest.

Webb looked good at times but for a guy that has his quickness he gets beat too often with a first step. At times it looks like he doesn't know the snap count. Louis had a couple bad games but the guy has been nasty all year. The Bears had more success running to the right with Matt Forte for a reason.

As awful as he is he actually looked good at LT last year. Made no sense to me.

Was he matched up against Hali in the Chiefs game? That guy is an absolute beast, so if that's the case I think that game is understandable.
